Today we had a 100+ ft tall oak tree taken down because it was actually growing through a cut out in the garage overhang. We found a surprise inside a hollowed branch after it had been lowered by crane. (Thankfully) A Screech owl family of 2 babies, an egg and a momma. We immediately called Wildlife Rehabilitation & Release and they said to bring them in right away. A couple hours later their volunteers brought them back to our property along with an owl box nest which they installed in the next tree over. I think we have a happy ending here and the daddy owl will find them tonight in their new home. We are so impressed with the people at Wildlife Rehabilitation & Release and will be donating to this very worthwhile nonprofit organization. 🥰

Such a cool place! I brought a baby squirrel and they immediately took her in and put it in an incubator. They care about the animals and their survival. I left a donation and took back home some cool bookmarks to learn more about wildlife.
