So easy to get an appointment and the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. The Vet techs are always professional and caring. My dog's and Kitty's Veterinarian, Dr. Scott, is ALL our favorite human person and Vet. She is well versed in what is going on not only in the veterinary world but with my animals as well that I always feel comfortable with her advice. She tells us what is necessary and what might not be really so necessary when I ask. She is a wonderful balance between being professional and so compassionate and kind. I know that she really cares about my animal family's well being. I just cannot say enough about how much we appreciate her skill and wisdom and kind heart. THANK YOU ALL!

Excellent Vet! Had an urgent situation needing to euthanize my 14 year old large pitbull female. They got me in the same day, were incredibly compassionate and professional, and took great care of her. They had gym mats and a blanket (for her comfort). They were very loving towards her during the process. The cremation package was very well done, including a very nice wooden box, clay paw print, and a very caring card. They even mailed a second card with the hand written condolences of every staff member. It's was a great touch and a great experience, especially considering the sad situation. 100 out of 10 would recommend this Vet. They legitimately care, they're knowledgeable, and they explain everything very well. Thank you for being so good to Portia in her final moments! RIP Portia Thank you so much, staff!

I feel so grateful we were referred to Intermountain Pet Hospital on Chinden Rd. From the very first interaction on the phone and every in-person encounter, I was so impressed. Several clean and roomy exam rooms are a plus, but it was the interaction of every person with both our dogs that made us sure we found the right vet for us. Each person was so kind, patient and respectful with our rescue puppy as well as our older dog (who we were told we could absolutely bring along just so he could become familiar with the clinic.) We have never been to a "fear free" clinic before and while we don't have anxious pets, all animals deserve to be met at their eye level if possible and given time to adjust which is exactly what happened during our first visit. Beyond that, Dr. Scott's communication with me was just as satisfying. I was shown the canine pain scale for the first time ever despite going to three different vets since moving to Idaho 18 years ago as well as given the opportunity to make informed choices about the options available which included going to another Intermountain Clinic if we preferred. Finally, we were communicated with by both text and phone call before and after our dog's surgery and sent in depth surgical summary. The only thing I missed was a phone call to check in on our pup the next day (which our old vet always did) but when I called with a question, I got great support. Our puppy is recovering well from her surgery which included a larger than expected hernia repair. We feel very lucky to have found the Chinden Intermountain Pet Hospital and Dr. Scott. We may even look into the acupuncture she offers someday.

On Saturday, our pup was having some unusual issues and the veterinary office we normally go to was closed. A google search of veterinary offices open over the weekend led me to Intermountain Pet Hospital. They were able to accommodate us as a walk-in. They were attentive and treated us as if we were part of their regular customer base. The vet followed up via text the next day to check on our guy. She also informed us of an accidental billing error and said someone would reach out to us on Monday. They did, corrected the error and also asked about how our pup was doing. Amazing customer service. I would definitely recommend this facility. In fact, we’re considering a switch to them!
