I give you two stars in hope that you guys love what you do. I recently have been let down by the humane shelter. In my neighborhood there has been this dog epidemic. These dogs, and when I say these dogs there are 6 or more of them running around in some sort of pack. They look like coyote mix breeds and Siberian huskies ECT. It's been over a year but it's now becoming a huge problem. These dogs chewed into my fence which allowed for my dog to get out and get shot (idk why my dog was shot and not these). At first I was angry with these dogs and just wanted them gone. The humane shelter left a trap in my yard chained to my fence that caught a dog but didn't come back to get it, they say they would be coming and never came, then they stopped answering the phone. That night I seen the dog getting eat up by ants and all the stray dogs were laying beside it like it was their momma with no food no water she was already limping, the humane was closed by then. We ended up letting her out and told them to come get their cage right now because we are pissed at them cause they are like 10 minutes down the road from where I live and couldn't do their part. I have grown an empathy to these dogs at this point I'm looking around at them and they are all limping, bullet wounds malnourished, dipping in trash cans neighbors leaving food out for them but some neighbors are throwing rocks and shooting pellets at them , they are oozing green stuff from their wounds and private areas, just living this dreadful life. I'm pretty sure my females are pregnant because they jump in my back yard constantly and there are other pregnant dogs in the neighborhood.I don't want to handle these dogs due to deceases or whatever they have, I need a professional!

We recently adopted a puppy from the shelter and it was a great experience. The building is well kept and smells very clean. The animals there seemed very well cared for and the staff is very dedicated. They loaned us a carrier for our puppy the day we adopted her since we forgot to bring our own. They took very good care of our puppy and we appreciate it!

yall are just terrible people. i tried calling multiple times so yall could come grab a dog who was dropped off by someone who had a collar on and was healthy. how do you expect to be known for getting animals off the streets and for adoption but yet don’t pick up the phone ? then wonder why so many dead animals are on the road.. yall are the reason why animals get teased and ran off by strangers .. you won’t do your damn job.

Thank goodness for the Montgomery Humane Society! As soon as they posted this little girl, I called and they answered. The staff was so friendly, answered my questions, explained the process, let me make an appointment for the next morning (pending she was still available). Once we arrived, they let me walk her and take her into the cat room for a "cat test". Happy has been home for almost a month now! She is full of energy and a wagging tail! I am so very grateful to the kind person that saved her and to the Montgomery Humane Society for getting her ready for a new home! The first picture was taken at the Montgomery Humane Society. Needless to say, she is named appropriately!

Y'all new him as Koda. His name now is Harley Bean. He loves being outside and running and chewing on his ball. After a hard day at barking at the neighbors and a full belly he loves sleeping in bed with Mom and Dad. Thanks for our Harley just adding to the review. Harley has fit in to our family. We love him so much. The folks at the humane society are amazing. We love y'all so much for making our hearts whole again. After our baby girl went to heaven we never thought another could take her place. Thank you

We recently adopted our little man, Maverick, from the Montgomery Humane Society. The adoption application was thorough, yet the responsiveness was very prompt. We were made to feel welcome and were encouraged to spend time with the fur babies we wanted to consider for bringing home. We so wish we could have adopted them all, but that is simply not feasible. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made this a great experience and we have so enjoyed our little man every day since!! I highly recommend adopting your next fur child through the Montgomery Humane Society. The price is very reasonable and you are comforted by the notion of sharing love and your home with a dog or cat that needs it.
