Dr. Drake and the animal clinic staff are phenomenal. We drove 3 hours from Georgia to meet Dr.drake in December of 2023 for ear cropping our cane corso puppy. The level of care and expertise before and after are unmatched. He ask for inspiration pictures and goes over what he thinks will be a great look for the puppy. He’s very hands on and upfront on the outcome of ear cropping a cane corso which is why when we purchased our second cane corso we decided to drive the 3 hours again to Dr. drake and staff for her ear cropping this past weekend. A year later the care and quality are still unmatched as when we first met.
Dr. does amazing work has been taking care of my dog wags for 18 yrs and all of my cats he treats Impeccable, very pleased with the service clean family friendly they care very important for my elder pets
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this animal clinic. Dr. Drake and his staff are very professional and made us feel like part of the family. We brought out Standard Schnauzer to Dr. Drake for ear cropping. I was stressed about the process, but the team went above and beyond to reassure me. They listened to what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable with everything. The healing process was easy and our pup was never in pain. We have had numerous people comment on how great they look and ask where we had them done at. If you are thinking of using this clinic, you can be at ease knowing they will take care of your baby!
They treated me with kindness but it took forever for the receptionist to even notice my presence even after jingling my keys. And I specifically took my cat (which was a stray) there to see if she was pregnant because her belly was protruding vastly and I was worried about that or that maybe she had some underlying disease. They said that it should be nothing to worry about and didn’t say anything in regards to pregnancy. Fast forward a month, and she just gave birth. Was not ready for that since I went there specifically to see if she was.
Dr Drake is by far the best vet in Montgomery. His staff is great and very knowledgeable. They were kind, caring and patient with my senior bully who was terrified but was easily put at ease by Dr. Drake. Can't lie though, the only thing better than the great experience we had at The Animal Clinic P.C. was my bill that was a fraction of what it would have been somewhere else. Over all great experience
Never coming back. The “cat room” appears to also serve as the break room since it has a fridge of people food and a microwave and a vacuum despite the floor not looking like it’s been recently cleaned. The room was filthy. There were uncapped used needles sitting on the exam table when I walked in. They just moved them to a different surface instead of disposal in a sharps container (probably because there isn’t one in the room) and I had to clean the exam table myself. The vet assistant was clearly under qualified and didn’t know what they were doing. I restrained my own cat for the vaccines which were administered into his back rather than the standard injection sites of the legs. ETA: I spoke with the office manager Lindsey who is very kind. She was able to explain that vaccination standards have changed and any injection under the skin is safe. However, she also stated that staff intentionally put us in an unclean room in the interest of time and that there is a sharps container in the room but the vet assistant simply chose to leave uncapped needles lying about.
