New management seemed kind and caring; however, it also seemed like they lacked a lot of basic horse knowledge. First new round of dirt for the arena was great. Second batch they brought in was filled with rocks. They also replaced the sand that was in the stalls, but again it was filled with rocks (some were humongous). They replaced the big automatic water tanks with smaller 76oz automatic waterers. These are great because the water stays cleaner. The only issue is they freeze super easy in the winter so if you’re going to board here I’d recommend bringing your own big bucket or stock tank to use over the winter. Found trash and glass bottles in the buckets in my stall a couple times, presumably left by workers there. Notified the owner and never received a response. Also, once this new management took over both our horses seemed to shed a lot of weight with no change to their diet. I’m not sure if it was stress induced by all the construction they were doing or not. Once we moved them out of there they immediately put the weight back on.

You won’t find a better place for the affordability and my mare loves it here. The access to amenities such as an arena that is consistently maintained, a hot walker with panels and an owner that truly cares about the facility with the dedication to constantly find ways to improve for the ease of owners and comfort of their horses is a breathe of fresh air.
