Great place to go to find your furry friend. It's clean and staff is very friendly. Wish people would come here to pick out their new furry friend than buy one. So many animals needing loving homes. My cousin found her new furry friend and couldn't be happier.

The Taylor Jones Humane Society had a very small waiting area. So it was crowded with 5 of us in there. Once you get to the dogs, it is a beautiful set up but the cages were smaller than the ones at Abilene Animal Shelter. They had a lot of puppies there but not much of a selection of adoptable dogs. The puppies were to little to be away from their mothers. I wasn't too impressed with the Taylor Jones Humane Society. Even know it is super loud and kind of overwhelming, I would choose the Abilene Animal Shelter every time. We absolutely LOVE our dog that we got from Abilene Animal Shelter. I wouldn't recommend checking out Taylor Jones Humane Society if you are looking to adopt a puppy/dog. It was a waste of time driving over there. I suggest you call if you are looking for a specific dog/breed so you don't waste your time driving there and leaving disappointed.

Great place great people helping pets find good homes. My friend my sister passed away and took her cat there. So happy we have their services here in Abilene. God bless them all for their hard work.
