Having ferral cats mixed in with use to be domestic and then a few friendly ones. Isn't healthy if you dnt work with them . Facility is very clean would never know cats lived there by the smell. Very clean facility.

I GOT A CAT FROM LOMA CAT HOUSE THEY DO NOT CARE TO MAKE SURE CATS ARE HEALTHY TO BE SOLD AND ARE GIVING AWAY SICK CATS WORSE PART I KNOW THEIRS OTHER CATS FROM MY CATS LITTER WHO ARE PROBABLY SICK AND DYING RIGHT NOW AS WELL. NOT ONLY THAT “MARIE” SAID SHE COULD NOT UNDERSTAND ME CAUSE OF MY “ACCENT” ( i’m hispanic) I ASKED IF I COULD TALK TO ANYONE HIGHER THAN HER AND WAS HUNG UP ON 🚨DO NOT ADOPT FROM LOMA CAT HOUSE🚨 THEY HAVE TO MANY CATS TO MAKE SURE THEIR ALL HEALTHY AND CLEARLY CARE ABOUT MAKING THEIR OWN MONEY THEN ABOUT THE CATS

We also just had a kitten die of FIP. We adopted him in August from Loma Cat House. Very sad! Of course it isn’t Marie’s fault. I do think she has a huge heart and I appreciate what she does to try to save all of the cats. I did let her know after we took him to the emergency vet and they advised we euthanize him what had happened. She said she was very sorry to hear about what we had gone through and wished we would have called her because she has the meds on hand. His body was full of fluid and he couldn’t breathe so I don’t think the meds would have helped at that point. Yesterday, she called me (he died about a week ago) asking if we had gotten him neutered as she needed to update her files. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Obviously, she needs more volunteers, etc. I imagine there is more work than time/energy/money to do it. The FIP situation is not unique to Loma Cat House. We fostered a cat last spring from CLAWS that also had (and died from) FIP. It’s a very sad disease.

We came and got a cat for my friend. Marie was very nice. She is very educated about cats. She helps so many cats that are in need. That’s very compassionate. Wonderful place. Thankyou Marie.
