My heart hurts reading the other reviews, As my experience was positive. My dog’s health issues were addressed, and pricing was fair and reasonable. My only concern was communication. In my opinion, it was apparent there was a workload issue. In the 12 hours that we were there on a Saturday to my knowledge, there was only one veterinarian on shift and a skeleton crew to assist him. Even the best veterinarian only has two hands and can only do so much at one time; Especially in an urgent care/hospital care situation where workload and/or volume can shift on a dime. It seemed again just my opinion And observation; the staff needs more support.

Please find a better option. I took a very sick and hungry, half dead cat that found in the road here. Poor guy was lost and his owner was in the hospital. They scanned his chip and found the owner but they still charged me for an "exam". They did absolutely nothing while I was there for over an hour with him gasping for breath. I tore a paper cup into a small bowl to give him water, and gave him some catfood I found in my car. I asked for a brush to try to brush out his matted and dirty fur, and used disinfecting wipes to try and clean him up a little. This was a terrible experience. I will never be going back. They have no heart for even the most sick and injurred and those who try to rescue them. I expected they would rush him in, clean up his nose, give him IV fluids. They seemed just happy to have him to use him to get money from the owner when they get out of the hospital.

This is 24 hr emergency veterinary clinic. I had to take 2 sick foster kittens in late on May 17, 2024. The kittens were beyond help and the decision was made to euthanize them. The two office staff I encountered during this upsetting moment were the most unprofessional and inconsiderate people I’ve met in a long time. For delicate situations like that, they failed to be courteous or helpful in every way. I would not want them being the customer service faces for my business. Other than that, the clinic appeared clean, safe, and well maintained. The technician that came out was patient and explained everything to me regarding the health and likely outcomes of the kittens. I appreciate her kindness in that upsetting situation. Again, it’s a real shame the first people I had an interaction conducted themselves in an uncaring and unpleasant manner.

Wishing I would have read the reviews before coming here which seems to be a lot of people’s thoughts. To be completely honest I’m writing this review while still waiting to be seen. I feel it is important to note that nobody should bring their pets here in a real life or death emergency. I brought my dog here for a gash he got under his eye. It needs to be cleaned and potentially stitched. I have now been here 3+ hours without being seen, nobody checking in with any updates, and when I poked my head out an hour ago they said I was next. When I got here they told me I was the third person to be seen but that the vet was stuck in traffic. It’s Atlanta, how are we not all prepared for traffic? I understand there might be other emergencies that come in and if you only have one vet on shift. I do hope they take the more urgent emergencies back quickly. But at the bare minimum you could send someone in to update us. I have been to emergency vets in the past and they have always been able to update us on the time frame. I think the biggest issue is I can hear people laughing and chatting and ordering food outside the door. So I get there may only be one vet but CLEARLY there are other people who could come provide updates. I’m staying because they’ve already charged me $160 before even being seen and I highly doubt they would refund me that. I’m sure the bill will only go up from here which I understand. From reading the owners responses to everyone (which I think are highly unprofessional too), they are very clearly a “for profit” organization. They stress that. I get they have to pay their employees and I’m totally fine paying for these services but just wanted to note that the responses feel very unprofessional borderline rude. They don’t seem to have any capability for ownership or accountability. Again if we are paying for a service ($160) before the service has even occurred, the least you can do is communicate with us. Updated after leaving: We were finally seen at about 3.5hrs in. They did not instill any kind of confidence and I felt pretty sick to my stomach the whole time. A tech took him from me to be seen by the vet, who didn’t say much other than that. Then the vet comes in without him, and starts to explain to me what she wants to do. I ask lots of questions and it seemed like she was annoyed by me asking them. I’m not a vet but I’m asking these questions to try and understand the treatment. I agree to let them check his eye which honestly just felt like an extra charge because we were there for a cut under his eye. But she explained sometimes the cornea can be affected so alright that’s fine. Latoya then brought me the costs sheet. It listed the eye check and “medications.” I asked many questions including what medications we would be doing? She was so rude and stated that was for the vet to decide and she was very clearly annoyed with me asking questions. Sorry not sorry, when I am signing to pay for a bill and treatment plan, I’d like a detailed explanation of what I’m agreeing to, mostly to ensure I can get the accurate medications needed for treatment. I get you’re busy but I think having some empathy for pet owners in stressful situations, simply asking questions is not too much to ask for. This really pissed me off and honestly made me sick to my stomach with worry about the level of care he was receiving. I have worked in customer service for 15+ years and know how draining it is but still I somehow manage to put on a happy face because that is part of my job. I never saw the vet again after this but Latoya brought him back to me eventually and said the eye was fine. That’s great but now I am still waiting and anxious about this document I’ve signed and still not knowing what the plan for treatment is and not having it clearly explained. They brought me antibiotic drops, and I paid and left. I am posting this the next morning and still feeling like I need to take him to another vet for a second opinion today. Honestly, just trust the reviews and don’t go here.

They saved Van Goghs life. He had a blockage in his kidneys that prevented him from breathing correctly. They consoled my emotions and let me know all of my options. I didnt have the money immediately as my entire community came together to help with the bill. I felt cared for and heard.

We have used the ER several times over the years for our babies, and they're always great. Most recently, they helped us treat my cat, Lucy, after she and one of my dogs got into a fight. At first, the prognosis was very grim, as she wouldn't put any weight on her front paws or potty on her own. Thankfully, with some pain medication, lots of rest, and some guidance from Dr. Neal and Dr. Prather, she has healed up and is back to her old self - playing and all! The entire staff was very helpful and kind during this process.
