Description Do not bring a bird to our facility without contacting us first. Please go to wildnestbirdrehab dot org and click on the "HELP I FOUND A BIRD!". This tool will give you step by step instructions on what to do, including intake instructions (When applicable) Wild Nest was created out of passion and necessity. Currently, no other rehabilitation facility dedicated to songbirds exists in Georgia, and fewer than a dozen state- and federally-permitted private bird rehabilitators practice in the state. For years, Wild Nest founder and executive director Nancy Eilen cared for hundreds of wild birds in her home.

Found 2 baby birds that were 3 days old. Spoke to someone that was very helpful on what I should do. Was willing to take them that night but I decided to wait until the morning. One didn't make it but one did. They took him in right after opening and immediately started taking care of him. Amazing people ❤️

Amazing facility. I found a bird that had hit a window during the migration last summer, and I didn’t know who to take it too. This rehab immediately said “bring it here”, so we drove an hour to make sure the bird got proper rehab and release that it desperately needed! I will always help an animal in need, and will take any future birds to this facility! Amazing staff/owner who really takes pride in their work and you can tell they love what they do!

I can’t say enough about how amazing these people are and how genuinely caring and kind they are to these birds. So our dog had a baby blue jay in his mouth and he looked like he was dead but starting to come to life a little. I called about 12 rescues. I found out this is the only song bird rehab in the state! They responded to my text quickly and on a Sunday evening at 7pm on Memorial Day weekend, they were at the facility to immediately take care of this little guy! The two ladies were so passionate and caring and just such a blessing to meet and speak with! Thank you guys for all you do for these beautiful creatures!

Really wonderful staff. Was able to text with someone so they could tell me what to do with the bird. They were able to intake the bird at the end of the day. Hoping our little robin makes it - but will be in very good hands no matter what. Thanks for all your help.

I really appreciate community volunteers for taking care of injured birds. We dropped off a mourning dove and he is safe now :)

They love volunteers. Reach out and sign up to help during a shift. They offer orientations to teach new volunteers the 'ropes'. WNBR only works with rehabbing song birds. I've learned a lot by volunteering when I can. So grateful they exist.
