Sue and I just adopted Dax (formerly Jagrati) a Cattle Dog/Shepherd from Ghost Town Dog Rescue. Ray and Liza are absolutely the best! They are professional, thorough, caring, and prompt with all aspects of the process. Whether you are a first time or experienced dog owner you can't go wrong here.

I adopted Tayo (formerly Teddy) at Ghost Town Dog Rescue in December and he is the sweetest kelpie boy ever. Liza and Ray do a great job of writing descriptions of there pups to help you see what might be a good fit. When I came to visit they also spent time talking with me about what I wanted and helped me to see that Tayo was going to be a great fit. He is perfect and he is learning so quickly. He is a great hiker, he is loyal and so wants to please, that training has been working well. I am so happy with my new family member! Thank you GTDR!

Ghost Town Dog Rescue is the absolute best! About a month ago I fell in love with a dog I found online and upon first contact, Ray was extremely helpful in helping arrange a refundable deposit so that we could schedule a time to meet Nikki and was flexible with our schedule. Upon meeting Nikki, she was everything that the shelter described her as online and you could tell that she was so well taken care of and loved by Liza, Ray and other volunteers. They provided us all of the information we needed, as well as a great harness, leash, seatbelt lease, bag of food, and some treats for the road. Nikki has been home with us for about two weeks and she has already stolen our hearts and has become so comfortable that she is almost puppy like now at 3.5 years old. Thank you Ghost Town Dog Rescue for helping us find our girl!

I adopted my baby 5 months ago from this rescue and she’s been the most wonderful puppy ever since! The shelter is family run and so responsible that if the pets are surrendered they take them back and then personally adopt out to responsible owners. I love my puppy she was a little fear aggressive because of how little she is but I took her to puppy classes and now shes so well adjusted and loving 🥰. Please adopt responsibly! The process was quick and easy and I met my little soulmate :)

Merry Christmas from the Kelly’s! Thank you ghost town rescue for the addition to our loving family. I found Max(formally Orlando) on pet finders and sent an email ray responded right away and gave me all the adoption information. I was able to schedule a meet and greet and we fell in love instantly with him, he is settling perfectly and enjoying his yard. He was fairly priced came microchipped , fully vaccinated, with a bag of food a nice harnes and really nice leash. They give you all the i formation and paperwork needed. Thank you so much for completing our family !

We adopted a puppy from Ghost Town and it was an excellent experience. With a deposit, they held the pup so we would have time to go have a meet and greet with her. We were able to bring our dog as well to make sure they were good together. The price was reasonable and it included shots, chip, spay, toy, a leash and harness. Now we just have to potty train her... We are so happy to have her in our family. She has brought the puppy out in our older dog and our kids will grow up with her. Thank you Ghost Town!
