This foster is absolutely fantastic. We have adopted 2 dogs through them. About 8 months ago we adopted a little blue heeler puppy. About 2 months ago we adopted a 1 year old Catahoula Chihuahua, however we had to unfortunately return her because she was allergic to our cats. As rare as that is, we tried every single kind of treatment outside of hospitalization before returning her back to follow your heart hospital where they gave her a shot to fight off the hives she was struggling with. Every time she came into contact with any of our 5 cats she would get hives; after about 5 weeks of trying everything possible to make it work we had to return her. At the end of the day we adopt not for ourselves, rather we adopt to give these little pups a better home. My home wasn't a better home, so we had to send her back. Follow Your Heart understood the issue at hand and took her back with open arms. They also refunded a portion of our adoption fee long after their 14 day refund policy. This company is very empathetic and caring for their dogs, and they are very understanding when push comes to shove. As of current our little blue heeler boy is doing fantastic. He has integrated with the cats extraordinarily well and we are actively trying to find him another sister to play with and exhaust his endless energy. Thank you guys so much for everything, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience returning Madison has caused. She truly was awesome and I know whichever home she ends up in will be a God sent.

If I had a million dollars to give to this rescue I would. We have adopted two dogs from this rescue. One we still have and he is the best little boy his name is Farrow. The second was an absolute joy in our family as well but sadly our home triggered her allergies so we made the hard decision to return her. I would like to say, adopting one dog is easy but adopting two dogs makes things a little more challenging. Before follow your heart we tried rescuing from our local shelters but every time it did not work out we were treated like disgusting humans when we had to return them. It would usually end in me crying because I was absolutely heartbroken about the dog and the people involved. With that being said, this rescue is phenominal and truly makes you feel like family. So please if you are looking for a furry companion please go and meet all of these kind hearted people wanting the best for their pups. I will always advocate for Follow Your Heart for as long as I live. We love you all so so much and shoutout to our foster mom Alicia she has been such a blessing to me personally and I am so happy we have crossed paths. P.S Farrow (Kano) has found his forever best friend. God Bless you all <3

The staff are very dedicated to helping animals. We went on 2 separate occasions to look at dogs. The first day the dog my mom really wanted wasn't available as he had been neutered that morning and needed to recover. We went back about 4 days later. We got to sit in a large room and interact with a few dogs. (1 at a time). My mom narrowed it down and I went home to get my dad. When my dad and I arrived my mom said the 2 she had narrowed down, wouldn't be a good fit after spending time alone with them. The staff brought a few more in the room to check out. None seemed interested in us. Then they brought in Carol Brady. She was the first dog to come check out all 3 of us individually and truly smell and look at us. She won us over and she is the sweetest dog. She lives for belly rubs and naps. She is slowly starting to play with old toys from previous dogs my mom has had. And she even loves car rides with her new harness that has an adapter for the seat belt in the car. She is an absolute sweetheart. We did change her name to Willow.

I adopted my pitbull from this place. When she was having separation anxiety I tried to take her back. They put her through a test. Yes a test. Their perfect trainer forced her to stand and allow his big dog to walk around her and sniff her. She tried to run away and he drug her back. She was terrified. He forced her to sniff his dog. She was cowering and his dog had its tail down the entire time. Once forced to be face to face my dog growled. He drug her back to me and said she failed. Any dog that is not aggressive would walk away when scared. To top it off their contract said I was required to bring her back. Never use the people as a source for adopting your dog. Their trainer should not be licensed. He is the reason there are agressive dogs.

Thank you for caring so much for all the animals! Thank you for spending thousands and thousands to save them, paying out of your own pocket, just to make sure every dog has a chance! Specifically the over 2k spent treating Honeybun and even more treating her litter! We love our girl Blossom, and all you did to help save her!

Debbie contacted me through a Facebook post I had made and gave us great information regarding 2 puppies that due to a family medical issue, had to be rehomed. She was very thorough and gave us great advice. After a long discussion we decided to go with this rescue and they are truly amazing! Glenda drove all the way to Payson to pick them up for us so we didn't have to drive to Phoenix. The communication has been top notch, and the care everyone we encountered has for animals shows. I love that they go straight into foster families and you can follow them on Facebook. I can't recommend this place enough!
