Description Wichita Pet Wellness is by appointment only. We are a full-service veterinary clinic in Downtown Wichita, also providing dog daycare and training. From the moment you enter Wichita Pet Wellness, you’ll notice we are not your traditional veterinary clinic! Our goal is for pets and their people to feel as though they are at home and a part of our family. With nine of our team members being Fear Free Certified and more in training to become certified, we put an emphasis on patients’ emotional wellbeing and strive to make visits as enjoyable as possible.

Everyone here is super friendly. Dr. Rafferty truly took the time to see my dog and explain things to me. You can tell they truly do care about the well being of each and every animal and their owner.

Took my cat to this place and had the most wonderful experience! Everyone we came in contact with was so welcoming and friendly. They have an exam room just for cats and did everything to make us both comfortable during the visit. The Dr. explained everything so well and I felt as those they were cost conscious when discussing the needs. I would highly recommend!!

Update:12/14/2023 I had to make that decision that every pet parent dreads.. my girl Rocki, a 16 year old next month, Australian Cattle Dog/ Rat Terrier, had secumed to her illness. She was fine.. until she wasn't. I am so thankful that Wichita Pet Wellness gave me the extra year plus that I had with her. When I called shortly after 7:30am, I was asked if I could be there by 8:30am because Dr Rafferty had surgeries. I only put that in because it was seemingly not an issue. When she was with Rocki and me, she was totally connected and empathetic.. helping to bridge the transition. I was also given the time I needed to grieve, to hold her, to think and cry. They also made arrangements, per my request , for a local pet aftercare to pick her up. This has been one of the hardest days of my life 😭 Thank You, Dr Christy and Ally for being by us.. and Wichita Pet Wellness staff for being the exceptional, above and beyond, quality people that I trust with my canine best friends. When Rocki was younger, she had a litter of puppies.. I was able to keep one, Isabel, who is now 14. I brought Izzi to Rocki's passing to help her know what happened to her mom. Thank you, Ally, for helping keep Izzi preoccupied with snacks. Thank You WPW for letting me include Izzi in this transition to our new normal ___________________________ Friendly and professional from the minute you walk through the door. And yet so casual and comfy with couches and pillows. No cold, hard, metal tables here! Dr. Christy and staff all get down on the patient's level! And they have washable throw rugs in case someone has a nervous bodily function! 💩🤦 These ladies are the best+... Going to the veterinarian can be stressful..they can help with that; especially if you tell them ahead of time. Since the first time I took my girls there, I knew I had found the kind of quality, gentle, hands on veterinarian services that I wanted for my girls... Thanks Wichita Pet Wellness!

The staff here is amazing!! They made my puppy feel welcomed and relaxed. He had a great time. They also took the time to explain what they were doing and why and ways to keep my puppy healthy and happy.
