Description Fix West Texas is a compassionate organization dedicated to the welfare of animals in the West Texas region. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned, abused, and neglected animals, providing them with a safe haven and a second chance at a happy life. With a team of dedicated volunteers and staff, we offer veterinary care, shelter, and love to animals in need, while also promoting responsible pet ownership through education and outreach programs. We believe that every animal deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, and we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of both animals and the community we serve. We offer low cost spay, neuter, vaccinations and microchips for dogs and cats.

I am on number 4 foster. I can't say enough about this organization and all the help that they have done for the animals and the neighbors. Our area is so unique in the fact that it has so many exceptional really good dogs that get euthanized. Fix West Texas helps get great dogs with great homes, and helps so much with low-cost vaccinations and spay/ neuter. We are so lucky to have them in our community. I try to help out as much as I can, and support them as much as I can because the work that they're doing is so very important. They save lives, and they prevent euthanization as much as they can, but not only that they help great dogs and cats find great homes. I'm a animal lover, but especially a dog lover.. there is no animal on the planet that is so attuned to us as the dog. They give us unconditional love and protects us at the cost of their own life… It's a beautiful organization that make sure these animals get the humane treatment they need and deserve.

I got my pup spayed here! Customer service was great and it’s very affordable compared to some vets! I would highly suggest checking them out and taking your pet there for a variety of needs! They will take good care of you as well as save you a lot of money!

Edit: Karen called and refunded our $100 and made clarifications on her policy. The microchip requirement is part of their non-profit grant and can not be changed! She was very kind and apologetic. I follow the work they do for West Texas and it's the truly so good for the animals! Updated from 3 to 5 stars! Karen was nice and accommodating with schedule conflicts on both her end and mine. Took my 2 kitties in for a spay only, and staff informed me they would not spay unless we agreed to microchipping. We didn't want to, so they then said they'd cover the cost. Price wasn't the issue. Embedding my animals with a foreign object is. Refused to refund my $100. On the instructions, microchips are listed as mandatory IF using a Midland County voucher, which we were not using. I'll go back to where my other 4 animals were fixed. They wanted vaccination records, but were willing to overlook them, after I said we don't partake in unnecessary vaccines.

Very friendly and AWESOME choice for vaccinations! Appointments or walk-ins are welcome between 10-noon on days the clinic is open.

Karen and her staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! They were able to schedule me in three days to get my doggo spayed! The communication is odd with not being able to call. You can only text the number. Otherwise, the staff when I dropped her off were very helpful and kind. The pick up went well also. Thank you so much for helping me with my Polka!!!
