I could not say enough about this clinic. We had to put our family dog to rest after 14 years with us. It was one of the hardest things I have had to do, however Dr. Knoebel and his staff were so loving and caring. They never rushed us. On the contrary, they sat with us, gave us as much time as we needed, even let us call our kids so that they could be there and let us stay with him as long as we needed to. They were so kind and we will always be grateful to them all.

I can't say enough about all the staff here. I'm on my 3rd dog now and all 3 have been rescues that I know they saved my life more than I saved theirs. I lost my 2nd dog unexpectedly and she spent 10 days up at the Iowa State veterinary Hospital. Where they pretty much used her as a test subject. Well I could tell the she was tired and just wanted to come home and let nature take it's course. So I called Dr. Knoebel who is the Vet and he came over to my house after he had something to do with his daughter and help me put my beautiful wonderful loyal companion out of her pain or suffering at 8 pm on a Monday night and took my baby girl and had her cremated and the Mac Rae Park Animal Hospital had gotten a really nice wood box and put her ashes in it and they all signed a card giving me their condolences on the loss of my best friend. They have always taken care of anything that I needed as well as everything that my dogs have needed. It is a place that everyone is like family if you have been going there as long as I have or even if you have only been going for a short time. They are one of 4 places in Des Moines that are probably the best in the business and really care about your pet and not just about making money.

Dr. T and Dr. Chris and Dr. Jaden have taken care of my dog, Reesi. They are so gentle with her and explain everything to me. All three are such good and caring doctors. The staff is so nice also. They genuinely care about your pets and go above and beyond to help them. I have been coming here for almost 6 years and they never disappoint. Both Dr Knoebel(s) are great. Dr. Jaden was amazing with my pet and really went above and beyond to make both of us feel safe. He provided literature and help educate me to be better equipped to deal with my pets health! If you need a vet I highly recommend!
