I had my Yorkipoo neutered here and the whole experience was great. Saved a good amount of money compared to what my vet wanted to charge. My little guy was in and out within a few hours and did extremely well throughout his recovery. He wasn’t in love with his cone, but he survived :) I’m thankful for all the staff and the vets who took care of my fur baby.
Scheduling was very simple! We did not use our normal vet and it wasn't an issue. I just called and asked and was able to schedule. Super fair pricing, really thorough details provided for after care. Would definitely recommend!
They were very friendly. They took great care of my young male dog, and I feel confident that the postop instructions are very clear and I completely understand what I need to do. They did a fantastic job and he’s recovering well.
All 3 of our were pets spayed, neutered and vaccinated here. We are sooooo picky about who handles our furry little loved ones and they are so great with all of em. Our 90 pound pitbull is super hyper and they are so about about making him feel loved and comfortable. Our cat is not about strangers at all, I told them and they handled her so well. Well our other cat is just a social weirdo so we were not worried about her lol. But all of their surgeries went without any hiccups and we knew our pets were treated well. Highly recommend!
Excellent prices, friendly staff and clean facilities. Give yourself an hour to wait and be processed unless you're first in line. I got there at 6:40 and I was 5th or 6th in line. Our regular vet quoted at least $1,000 only for spaying our female cat. We paid $320 at Homeward Bound for the spay, flv check, all the vaccines and microchipping. We had to pay extra because our cat was in heat and is 14 weeks post party ($75 fee).
Summary: They removed my dogs spleen, did not do the spay and the story does not add up. I brought my puppy here for a spay appointment this morning. They claim to do pre surgery med checks, but I did not see one take place, and was not informed of any problems prior to surgery. 3.5 hours after drop off I get a call from the vet informing me my dogs spleen is laid out on the operating table with a large cut that was causing internal bleeding. They claim the cut on her spleen was already there even though my dog had no signs of pain or internal bleeding prior to this. One staff member told me the spleen isn’t located anywhere near the incision site! Two other vets I have consulted with say this is false. It is possible to cut the spleen during a spay and any legitimate practice would have been able to identify an injured dog with internal bleeding during the med check before the surgery. This clinic removed my dogs spleen without the proper medical set up or pain management (vets words!) and did not end up doing the spay. The manager was very aggressive and displayed zero accountability for this negligent practice. My dog is left permanently without a spleen and still in need of the spay we initially went here for. This was a nightmare beware of this clinic.
