I have a gorgeous miniature wire haired dachshund who finds sunbathing by the pool preferable to going to the vets . However, she is put at ease when we see Dr David Smith .. He is an excellent vet and really cares about her health and well being .Very pleased to have such good care given to her every time we visit ,and all the staff are very kind and helpful too.

I have nothing but good things to say about them! I had to bring my hamster in a few times and they were so accommodating and helpful. All of the staff are super nice and the exotic doctors are knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Also, both locations are so clean and inviting! I’m really impressed with them and will continue recommending this hospital.

Absolutely love ❤️ Dr Smith at Bayroad Dr Smith is very dedicated to his pet patients. He is kind, compassionate, and takes his time asking questions and explaining his findings. Excellent staff and technicians. Impressed with everything about Bayroad. Really love the detailed typed notes they email after an appointment. Thank you for caring for my 6 babies! You are appreciated!

Needed a veterinarian for my 16 year old schnauzer while in Sarasota for the winter. A friend recommended Bay Road Animal Hospital on Honore, and I am so glad she did. Oliver was seen by Dr Tisdale who was patient, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain a treatment plan for him, performed blood tests and discussed the results during our visit. Oliver is not the most cooperative patient, but he was treated with kindness and great care. I am very happy knowing that I have a local veterinarian that I feel comfortable using and would highly recommend Dr. Tisdale and Bay Road Animal Hospital to anyone in need of a veterinarian in the Sarasota area.

I couldn't be happier with the care I receive from Bay Rd! I have all 3 parrots in with Dr. Smith. My only regret is not finding them sooner! Compassionate care and extremely expert in the scientific aspect, reasonably priced. Many years of experience makes a difference!

Dr Nicole Tisdale is exceptional. She presents all the options. Besides being as sweet as pie, I have never seen a veterinarian do an examination as thoroughly, as she does. The whole team works like a well, oiled machine.
