The staff are always so friendly and helpful! I cannot recommend this place enough. We have a rescue dog that isn’t a fan of other dogs and the staff never makes me feel like it is an inconvenience they are always willing to help. I live in Baton Rouge and drive in just for this vet. I am moving two hours away and will still keep him at this vet just because of how friendly and nice they are.
Vet listened to my concerns. She did not rush me out like she had some place more important to be. She didn’t try to sell me products that I didn’t need. She prescribed the proper medications for my dog. Frufru is feeling much better.
I have been to a lot of vets over the years but I yet to experience the level of friendliness and care my dog received upon visiting Batt Veterinary Services. The entire staff from the front desk to the techs to Dr. Batt were exceptional in care of my dog Jynx. The prices for the service was very reasonable as well. Jynx and I thank y'all for your superior service! I know my dog is in caring hands when we visit and we look forward to seeing y'all again!
Dr Batt did a complex surgery on my girl Nutmeg. It turned out to be a very successful. I'd like to thank Dr Batt and his staff for the wonderful, compassionate care they showed towards me and my baby.
We rescued a steady pup and went in a few weeks later to get her checked out. She was showing what we googled, admittedly, were signs of dog bloat. Nope, the good people at Batts did an ultrasound and x-ray to let us know we actually rescued a pregnant pup. They were super happy for us and very informative. They gave us info on what to expect and just some general care advice on what our pup and her pups would need. That visit was less than $100 for both the ultrasound and x-ray. It would've been almost 200 at petco which is where we took our rescue to get her shots when we took her in. We went back at 2 weeks to get the pups their de-worming meds. That was another less expensive visit. For 8, 2-week old pups the de-wormer, exfoliating wipes for puppy shed, and visit was $50. I've been nothing but impressed and happy when taking my pup here.
I brought in my two of dogs for two different reasons. We were able to be seen through The Inner Pup (TIP) veterinary assistance grant program. I brought in my 12 yr old chi x for pain and discomfort. Dr. Brendan requested my dog's previous records detailing his acute onset back leg paralysis and subsequent back surgery from 2019. My had recently been yelping out in pain when touched. This brought back an overwhelming fear that this could be a relapse of his back injury and he could become paralyzed again or worse. After examining my, Dr. Brendan went over the possible reasons for his discomfort, gave us medication, detailed future options for plan of care and gave us information on how to manage it presently with medication and proven homeopathic supplements. He answered all of my questions about how I can make sure to keep my dog as health as possible such as using pet ramps instead of the pet stairs that we are currently using. Dr. Brendan was so through, I felt educated and relieved when I left his office. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from Kristi at the front desk to the staff that was cleaning, and Devin the vet tech that helped us. Thank you for helping us get great Medical Care. The best take away I liked about this visit was Dr Brendan taking the time to educate me about my dog's care.
