We offer comprehensive care for your pet 24/7, 365 days a year. Our services range from wellness exams and house calls to boarding and surgical procedures – and everything in between. In addition to the Main Hospital on Metairie Road, we also operate five Out Patient Clinics in Kenner, Metairie, Lakeview, Freret Street, and the Marigny in New Orleans to better serve our clients.

The entire staff at Metairie Small Animal Hospital have always taken such great care of our fur babies. They have been there for us through puppy visits, torn ACLs, epilepsy diagnosis and wellness visits. There is no one else that we would trust with our fur babies care! ❤️

Absolutely amazing !!!! I will never go anywheres else !!!!! They saved my fur baby Nola’s life she had a Pyometraand would have died if not for the emergency surgery they performed on her 🥺. No they aren’t the cheapest but the are very reasonable and the vet did everything possible to keep cost at a minimum. I looked over the bill and she kept her word and didn’t do any unnecessary procedures. everything she did was needed for the survival of my baby that also included a blood transfusion and I’m so grateful for everything they did 🥺 but what I love absolutely love is your pet is the priority to them and that’s what matters most with vet care 🫶🫶 thank you guys so much and Nola is doing amazing only 3 days post surgery she’s back to her normal energy levels and you can tell how much better she’s doing already 😁

We found Dr. Cody after our kitten had an accident and needed to go to the vet last year. We loved him since that first interaction and recently scheduled an annual checkup for that same kitten. He was so kind and said our girl was the best and perfect! I love that he goes above and beyond and calls and checks on his patients the following day even for a simple checkup. He truly cares about his patients and their families and we appreciate that so much! MSAH has been our go to for years and we will forever be thankful for MSAH and their kindness.

I brought my dog in recently to get his routine vaccinations and get his ears checked because he has chronic allergies and the entire staff of Metairie Small animal Hospital was fantastic. The vet tech at check-in was really nice and all the vet techs were really personable, but my favorite part of my experience was Dr. Meredith. My dog can get really nervous around the vet and he does require muzzle at times, but she was always so attentive to his needs, was really patient and slowed down when he needed it. She was wonderful, and I felt my pet couldn’t have been in better hands! At the end of the visit my dog barely moved when he got his last shot!! If that’s not a sign, not sure what is!

we love MSAH!! i recently rescued a dog that was hit by a car and they have taken such good care of him. Dr. Victor was his emergency vet and continues to check in whenever we’re in the office. We’ve been doing laser therapy treatments with Courtney and have seen an immense improvement. Beyond that i can tell everyone here is really rooting for Harry’s recovery. All the vet techs are so kind and helpful whenever i call with questions. i really cannot recommend MSAH enough

Twice I had to bring my baby Nala there. Each time the concern and the care was unbelievable. Awesome experience each time. The workers are super caring individuals. Thank you guys!!! Wish I could remember y’all’s names , but all yall deserve recognition.
