Description Since their inception, HSTC's Thrift Stores have provided a substantial portion of revenue and support for the shelter's lifesaving and life-enhancing programs and services. With new merchandise arriving daily and specials on already discounted items, customers have a reason to visit often and find that bargain or treasure! There is something for everyone at either store, featuring everything from trendy, designer clothing to mid-century furniture, linens, house-ware, art, and jewelry. Did you know that our thrift store also offers CAT ADOPTIONS? That special item you’re shopping for, may just be your new best friend! Please call our thrift store directly to learn about acceptable donations and to schedule a donation pickup!

Great place and great finds! People are complaining about the “high prices” but they’re really not. It goes towards supporting animals, why would anyone complain about spending a little more on homeless animals anyway? I don’t think they’re “picky” on donations either, they just don’t want people’s junk, which I think a lot of people are used to doing when they’re cleaning house & want to dispose of stuff. They have my support & my donations!
I love the place! All money goes to animals that don't have a voice. Kudos to all the volunteers. 🙏
2nd Update: Prices are out of control here! They just keep going up, um they are selling donated items so there is no reason for the prices to be so insanely high! I will no longer waste my time shopping here. Update: I no longer donate here. They now have to check everything before they will accept it. I donate next door to House of Hope and never have an issue. Sad, because the Humane society was my go to place to donate. Edit: This place is now really "cranky" when it comes to donations. If you get there at 9:55am and they open at 10am they will not take your donations. From time to time when I donate people are a bit "snippy" and will make faces. I now bring my donations next door to the House of Hope and never have an issue. That is probably one of the reasons the HOH is better stocked with items. (It was when I originally posted this --->)Best thrift store in Martin County. Store is always clean and organized. Staff is always friendly. I always find something to buy.
I love this place. The volunteers are incredibly nice and helpful. The merchandise is really well maintained and organized. The cats are adorable and sweet. I go once a week and always donate all my donations to this location. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys thrifting or is looking to adopt a cat. There is also a couple of other really cool places in walking distance to visit. A habitat for humanity restore and a furniture/thrift store type place.
Over the years, I've adopted 2 cats and 1 dog from the Humane Society. I donate money annually and have been contributing to this store for over 10 years. The Humane Society is near and dear to my heart. Today I tried to donate a Zero Gravity Lounge Chair which we were using up to the night prior. It worked fine but was the legs were rusting, more than I originally thought when I brought it in. The first woman that I encountered told me that they don't take my trash. I was offended and explained that it worked and I didn't realize it was as rusted as it was. The 2nd lady (boss) was much nicer and more tactful and said the buyers are fussy, etc. I get this and took it back. I think the employees should be trained not to be so rude. Sadly, I will not donate here again, due to one employee. Thank you.
Prices are crazy high there. For free stuff they got and free help volunteers. They shouldn’t be charging so much for items.
