Red River Animal Emergency Hospital was wonderful when my husband and I had to bring our dog in for an emergency last minute. They seemed to truly care and understand how we were feeling. Everyone there seemed nice and educated. The clinic is really clean and beautiful too. I loved how nice and caring everyone was. I also love the updates and photos. Thank you for taking care of my fur baby girl Lipton. P.S. She's getting stronger and she started walking again! We are hoping that she will continue improving and we know it will take a while and a lot of work for her and us. Thank you again for all the help and service. We appreciate you all!

Compassionate, caring staff. We always felt well cared for by Everyone on our case right down to the front desk staff. Appreciated the dedication to our pet and helping us find answers. When our rescue puppy of one week started getting sick we were sent to Red River. The staff got us in within a timely matter and are helping us find the answers we need to hopefully make a full recovery. His case is kind of complicated but I feel like they are doing everything they can to help us.

Our lab Hazel was treated for a life threatening condition and diagnosed with Addison’s disease here. No one ever wants to visit the emergency vet, but the front desk staff, assistants, techs, and doctors were excellent and we felt that Hazel was in very capable hands. Everyone we spoke to was kind, compassionate, and patient during this very stressful time for us. We felt that our bill was also reasonably priced given the level of care she required. The facility was clean and tidy. We also really appreciated the photo/text updates and the ability to visit during her hospitalization. Thank you SO much to Dr. Erickson, Dr. Carver, and the rest of the team for taking such great care of our furry family member and restoring her to good health. We are so grateful for you!

A couple weeks ago I had to bring my oldest girl Emily in for a life threatening emergency, and as I am from Grand Forks, it was so scary having to leave her, but Red River Animal Emergency Hospital took such amazing care of her, and kept me in the loop the whole time she was in their care. I also loved all the photos they sent me of Emily! If it wasn’t for them, I don’t know if my baby would still be here. The Vets were so kind, and gave me so much hope that she would get better! Because of them she is home and doing amazing! I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of her! Thank you guys so much! ❤️

Our dog Luna became very ataxic and collapsed out of no where at 1AM. We called RRAEH and they stayed calm on the phone with us while we were panicking. They walked Luna to the back right when we got there to assess her. There was a wait time as they were very busy, but they kept us updated and took Luna on potty breaks, gave her food and water, and even sent us some videos of her. They addressed all of our concerns and made us feel at ease. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They always make us feel like family. I will always recommend RRAEH and we are so grateful to have a 24 hour vet in our community. Luna is back to normal and happy as ever thanks to them :)

I can’t say enough amazing things about Red River Emergency Hospital. Dr. Wigglesworth and Dr. Anna - Thank you both for taking such great care of Winston. You helped to put my mind at as much ease as it could be during this terrifying time. You both were so transparent, honest and kind. While I hope that I won't "need" to see you again, I know that if I do, my babies are in great hands. To Taylor and the other Techs/assistants helping- Thank you as well! We are so appreciative of all the time and care you put in with him over his 36 hour stay and multiple kennel clean outs. The amount of care that went into taking care of Winston and pictures sent , is something we are so incredibly grateful of. It was one of the most terrifying moments of being a dog mom, but the whole team was amazing. The communication throughout his stay, and the patience with follow up questions I had after his discharge is much appreciated. Often when talking about this clinic, the first thing I hear from friends is about the “cost”. And while Emergency care is more expensive , I truly believe that it was and is worth it. I trusted my dogs’ life in their hands this past weekend, and won’t hesitate to do so again if needed. I would recommend them to anyone needing emergency vet care.
