They don't open at 5, they kick you out in the pouring rain until 8pm

I first love it, but the next day, I don't like it. The people in Gladys Ray Shelter except for the some staff that are nice to me.

I cannot thank Jan and the entire staff enough for all your help, support and encouragement. You saved my life! When things were at my worst I found G Ray, and thank God I did. I would still be on the streets if not for there help. They provided everything I needed to regain my sense of self and dignity and the hope and desire to get off the streets. They did it with love respect, kindness and support. They believed in me when I had given up on myself. Today all the amazing things that are happening are a result of there help and my case manager at SEHS Rhonda B. At the end of every day when I have a beautiful home and bed to go to I think of them when I didn't have one...but they gave one when I had no place to turn to. These people are Gods angles doing work on Earth. From the bottom of my heart than you all again, Jamie

I had an unexpected emergency and Gladys Ray Shelter was kind enough to open their doors to me, including breakfast and coffee the next morning. All beds were full but myself and about 25 others were allowed to sleep under "overflow" protocol. Thanks, guys and gals!

Gladys used to be all about helping people. You could always get shelter here even if the beds were full they would give you a chair but not anymore. They are cold and don't care about your situation whatsoever

Amazing staff helpful and outgoing. If they can't do what you need done they will go above and beyond to help u find the help u need. It's a nice facility and a warm place to just warm up grab something to eat and talk to someone. The staff here goes above and beyond most shelters staffs!!!
