We adopted a cat for my brother-in-law from here, and we recently adopted our darling little Beau. I am appreciative of the staff's patience, as we had to meet numerous dogs and wait due to my daughter's allergy sensitivities to specific breeds. We went to this shelter several times, and they were always really patient with us. We are really grateful for everyone's assistance and patience while we searched for the ideal little one for our children. Thank you so much for your help and patience with us!

I was looking at another Shih Tzu to adopt, but someone else was ahead of me. Afew days later I got a call saying they had another Shih Tzu just come available. I adopted this sweet little guy on August 2nd. Formally Griffin,but now Buster bonded with me in afew days.so glad I was accepted to adopt him. The staff was awesome & so helpful.

Wonderful and vital organization in our community! We had a lovely staff member show us the cats and dogs and they took time to tell us each pet’s story! You can tell that the compassion and care are genuine.

They always do an amazing job of setting up the adoption papers and they are very detailed orientated! They have great customer service too! I would recommend anybody who wants to adopt to go through the Homeword animal shelter! They make sure that the pet is safe and a match for you and your family! I’ve Adopted two cats from the shelter and I could not imagine my life without them now!

staffs are so wonderful! They care about all the animals and try their best to find a permanent home that fits each animal's unique personality. if you are not so sure about adopting, please consider of frosting, give these animals a warm home to stay. Shelter is running out of space. They need space to help more animals inneed. After helped frosting couple dogs, I have gained so much respect and understanding of how hard these staff have worked with their limited resources. They need our support!
