I called animal control today, concerning a vehicle with three dogs, they were all short nose breeds. All of the windows were all rolled up, the vehicle was NOT running and In direct sunlight. The dogs visibly looked like they were in distress, panting heavily and a lot of drooling. The temperature was 79 when I walked outside, I would imagine the internal car temperature was over well 100. The operator on the phone who I got connected with was difficult to work with, kept talking over me when I was trying to explain the situation, give information about the vehicle, and quite frankly seemed to be aloof about the whole situation. Basically dismissed this, as it wasn’t an urgent issue and the well being of multiple animals were involved. I’m extremely disgusted. Those dogs deserve better, and we deserve a better service as a community. That lack of care is very disheartening. 0/10 negative stars, do better.

These guys are horrible. I called to see about my lost dog and they told me they hadn't found any such dog, even though they hauled him to the humane society and failed to acknowledge that part! How dare you! You guys need new employees that know what is going on! Not lying to families about their missing animals!

This evening I had a run in with animal control. Admittedly, my dog had escaped and I was chasing him for over 3 hours. I legit could not catch him. By the time they arrived, I was called into work for a trauma related incident at the hospital. I informed them of the emergency and stated that I needed to leave ASAP because it was a life or death situation. Unfortunately, they did not take this with any real concern. Now while my arrival was late and had no true impact on the patient’s outcome, which was fatality, the issue I have here, had a person I was going to see at the hospital had a true fighting chance, their choices of stalling me could have resulted in death.

I called when my dog went missing during the polar vortex. They were very helpful, understanding, and were compassionate when I got a bit upset during the call. They took my report and 47 hours later called me because someone reported a dog at large that matched my description. It was him. Without their help he wouldn't be home safe.

Gate blew open on a windy day and my dog got out while I was at work. I promptly received a call after he was picked up, and was transferred to the officer who had my dog. She happily returned him to my backyard and latched the gate when I explained I work two jobs and didn't have much time between shifts to pick him up. 11/10, good people + good service, very grateful for their treatment of my dog and understanding of my situation

I have called multiple times to get help with a coyote that has attacked myself and my 2 dogs multiple times. They refuse to come and control this animal or do something. I've been told they don't handle coyotes and then dismissed because they don't know who I should call. I have also been told by one Animal Control person to just call 9-1-1. If Animal Control refuses to help, why can't they tell me who does? Useless and not worth our tax dollars paying for this excuse of a service to our community.
