We always drove by The Cat House, but finally stopped by to visit their furbabies today. The volunteers were wonderful, welcoming us even though we wanted to simply look at the cats they had. Regina, one of the volunteers, patiently walked us through each of their cats and even told us how to engage with each one. The final cat we saw stole our hearts, so we only left after putting in an adoption application. Regardless of the outcome, it was such a wholesome experience being there, and it's so cool to see how well the cats are loved and cared for at The Cat House. 🐾

From the day I met Jackie O at The Cat House I have been grateful for all of the volunteers and anyone committed to the shelter. They do their very best to make sure the cats are cared for properly. I was able to have a great friend from the day she chose me to the day I had to see her off because of these caring people. Thank You So Very Much.

How could you NOT give this place 5 stars?! They’re the only no-kill cat shelter in Lincoln, and even take care of kitties with FLV and FIV, which some shelters simply put to death. The cats have enough space, and the volunteers and staff are so caring. Stop in soon and find your new best friend! I adopted a sweet, loving, friendly black from here (at their old location) back in 2008, and he was the best companion a human could ask for, for 13 wonderful years. If you don’t have room in your home or heart for a cat right now, consider donating or volunteering. People like this make our community a better place.

I love visiting The Cat House! I'm currently a student in Lincoln and it's my home away from home. I miss my own cats dearly, but I always look forward to visiting the cats here, and it's wonderful to see them adopted into good homes.
