Shannon has been a great trainer to my dog Noel (dog reactive due to prior trainer maltreatment). She was patient and willing to explain Noel’s detailed behavioral tendencies to me. Also, I can tell that Shannon truly cared about my dog as evidenced by Noel’s positive level of comfort with her after their first session. Lastly, Shannon was awesome at managing expectations for training, no false promises/guarantees, just honesty. Highly recommended!

Our girls have come so far with their training. Our red heeler is about 7 months old and we have been given great lessons on how to take care of the puppiness.;). Our other sweet girl Sunny Hunny struggled with severe anxiety naturally and from a bad boarding situation. Shannon has really helped her overcome a lot. So grateful!!! We will always be using wild paws for boarding and training in the future!!! We highly recommend!!!!

I have the pleasure of working with Shannon at Wild Paws to train my beloved dog, River, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Shannon's expertise and dedication to her craft truly made the entire process a positive one from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the gates of Wild Paws, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. Shannon's passion for dogs and training was evident right away, and it put both River and me at ease. She took the time to understand River's unique needs and personality, tailoring the training program to suit him perfectly. Throughout the training sessions, Shannon demonstrates exceptional patience, knowledge, and a genuine love for dogs. Her techniques are highly effective and ensured that River not only learned new commands but also enjoyed the process. Shannon's ability to connect with River and build a trusting relationship was remarkable. What sets Shannon apart is her commitment to the overall well-being of the dogs she works with. She goes above and beyond to create a safe and supportive environment, where dogs can learn and grow. Her deep understanding of dog behavior and her ability to communicate that knowledge to owners like myself is truly invaluable. In addition to the exceptional training sessions, Shannon provides me with ongoing support and guidance. She was always available to answer my questions, offer advice, and provide reassurance when needed. Her dedication to both River's progress and my understanding of his training was unwavering. If you're searching for a dog trainer who is not only knowledgeable but also compassionate and dedicated, look no further than Shannon at Wild Paws. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone looking to enhance their relationship with their four-legged companions. Shannon and Wild Paws have my utmost respect and gratitude for the transformative experience they provided for River and me. Thank you, Shannon, (and Amanda!! Can't forget to mention you!!) for your outstanding work and for helping River become the best version of himself. Wild Paws is a true gem in the dog training world, and I am forever grateful for the positive impact you've had on our lives.

Shannon is such an amazing trainer to my reactive Shepard mix. She has helped us with reactivity training and scent training because Noir loves having a job to do. Noir has made so much progress and it’s all because of the training with Shannon. Wild Paws also boards and I always feel safe leaving Noir with Shannon. He always has the best time when staying with her.

Shannon is amazing! She really has been a god send for my reactive shepherd, setting us up for success and giving her the confidence to have a much more fulfilling life.

My dogs have thrived from Wild Paws. Shannon is not a one trick pony kind of trainer, she learns from your animal and then they learn from her. I suggest the drop off training, it has worked wonders for my two very different pooches. Shannon has also helped me with the appropriate times to be tough and when to be like me 'a pushover'. She has also helped us many times off the clock with questions regarding kennels and other type situations that helped out tremendously.
