The most welcoming, friendly staff and vets who take the time to get to know both me and especially, my dog. I was happily surprised with how comfortable they made us feel with plenty of time for questions and knowledgeable answers. Everyone was kind, engaging and attentive. We love this place and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!

Friendly, knowledgeable, followed up promptly. Treated us like old friends even though it was our first visit. Showed genuine concern for our pet and our pocketbook. Would recommend without reservation.

I've been meaning to write this for about 2.5 years but it's been too painful. It still is, and my eyes are burning as I write this, but it's time I share! Here comes a long one. This facility is amazing. I experienced such love and compassion from the staff when I took my foster boy here routinely as he aged. I was hospice-fostering an incredible senior boxer mix through a local rescue. He was in bad shape when I brought him home and was too sick to even be neutered. He was estimated to have less than a year left, and I wanted to make sure his last year special. Pet Medical Center & Spa was the facility the shelter used at the time, so they were his dedicated team even though my own dogs go to another facility. As medical issues arose, I took my sweet boy here with approval from the shelter. They always made time to get him in right away and would keep him for the day while I worked. Petey, my darling old man, absolutely loved coming to this place. In all my years, and all the dogs I've had, I've never had a dog so excited to walk through the doors and trot away with staff! He'd always look back at me, with a look of, "I'll be okay, Mom!" as he happily went with someone. I was told some staff had pictures of him on their phone and would routinely stop at his kennel to give him love and treats whenever he was there. At first, he had a pretty bad corneal ulcer, and later, some undiagnosed GI disease. Petey's health improved drastically and I had him for nearly two years. But he still eventually became sicker as he aged, and began losing weight. When he struggled to defecate, I brought him to the team here and they found he had a swelling around his prostate that they hoped would decrease if they neutered him. Petey's health had improved so much that they were able to neuter him and he healed like a champ. It unfortunately didn't solve the problem, and after so many attempts at helping him, it was determined that we could just make him as comfortable as possible. I left the state for a 1.5 week trip and the afternoon I got home, I found out his situation had worsened to the point that he couldn't stand up on his own anymore. I called PMC. Dr. Davis, who was the veterinarian overseeing his care, said I could bring him in immediately as I made the painful decision to let him go with the approval of the shelter. They were so, so kind when I brought him in. They had a private room set up with a bed and blankets to make him comfortable. They brought in ice cream with chocolate for him to eat as his final meal, which he loved (despite having lost his taste for eating). Letting him go was one of the most painful things I've had to do and I still struggle with him not being here even though it was absolutely the right choice because he was in so much pain. I paid for a private cremation and the team put together a really nice little bag with his ashes and a framed paw print in some type of clay. They also sent me a really nice card. Thank you so much to Dr. Davis, and to the vet assistant Tiffany, who also adored Petey and always took the time to talk to me about how wonderful he was. I think about both of you, your facility, and your kindness to me and Petey all the time. Thank you.

Had to visit pet med center & spa a few times with a terminally ill older dog. They were very thorough, and patient with my "asks" through this tough time. They also routinely followed up to see how things were progressing in the weeks that followed. Lastly, when confronted with an extensive bill for meds and tests the vet tech helped me research generic options to soften the financial blow.

I have always been happy with the care that my pets have received at Pet Medical Center and Spa. As a long time client--ever since Dr. Dumars (whom I miss very much) was there I have always been happy. My issue is with the staff up front when you check in or call. They use to be flexible with my schedule and if I called to postpone they were good about rescheduling me quickly. Now, I have to wait one-two months out just for exams or shots especially if I have to postpone due to a schedule conflict or unable to catch one of the ferrels in for shots/exams. Sometimes longer if I need to get one of the cats in because of an injury. They will not let me drop off and if I do it and it can only be at a certain time when I have to be at work, and they are less than friendly with the exception of one individual who is very patient with me when I ask questions. I do not have the time flexibility that I had last year and the front office refuses to work with me especially since I am trying to work with them. I have to work with their schedule--if my schedule doesn't work for them then I am out of luck and either have to wait or drop before 5:00p.m. the night before if that is even possible. I love the Vets very much and will continue to come and trust them with my pets care. ( That is why I gave them a 4) But the Front Office needs some work, customer training, and sensitivity when it comes to scheduling. I would really like for Pet Medical Center and Spa to go back to being open on Saturdays even if it is for just a few hours. It was a blessing and helped me out a lot.

I can't speak highly enough of the great staff at this vet, they are amazing. Not only do they work so well with our pets but they work with the families in every way possible.
