The staff is so kind and welcoming. When you enter the building, you are instantly greeted with smiles. They walked us through the dogs and gave us plenty of knowledge about every one we were interested in. We went for one particular dog, however she was unavailable due to her health. We were still able to meet her, which still made my heart happy. Overall, it was a great experience. One little pup grabbed our heart, so we will definitely be back.

I complained on their Facebook page, but they deleted it, so that’s why I will post it on here. First of all, the workers that actually work with the animals in the kennels were nice and friendly, but the dispatchers and one of a supervisor were terrible at customer service and hate to answering questions. We were fostering to adopt 2 puppies for almost a month. We paid for the puppies food, crates, dogs’ houses, treats, and toys. So, we wanted the pups to get all their first shot of each vaccine done from the shelter and get neutered before we signed the adoption. I had to keep complaining in order to get all these things done as it states on their website, so that I can fully adopt the puppies! When we had questions, the front workers seemed like they don’t want to do their jobs, don’t want to look up for the information that I asked for. The workers, that talked to me on the phone, talked with attitude and talked over me. First, I had stopped myself from talking and let them talk, when they were done talking, it was my time to talk but they didn’t let me finish my sentences because they couldn’t handle it, I caught them laying and I called them out right in their face when they were rude to me. They got really mad when I talked to them the same way they talked to me. They said it was a waste of time answer my questions and told me to send the dogs back to them. They do not care of about the dogs. I just don’t understand why can’t they just be nice at work or stay home with that attitude. Right now, we adopted 2 puppies because we love the boys. The dispatchers and their supervisor treated us like they owned this organization themselves. More animals would be adopted if the shelter did not have these rude staffs. My advice to for them here: Give the adopters and foster parents respect first, and then you will get it back!!! Remember you do this job to help the animals, so drop your attitude.

This place is an absolute joke. I took my golden Retriever here, after she passed. I had made arrangements with pet cemetery to do cremation services on my loved 1. This joke of a business gave them a 22 lb terrior, and told pet cemetery it was my loved 1, a full blooded golden retriever. Long story

Did not have a good experience with this facility at all and the woman employee in the silver 4Runner is RUDE. My family drove three hours to get there from the coast so we could look at their large amount of dogs. They had some adorable dogs and the person who helped us was extremely nice and friendly. I found a dog I liked and went up to the cage to let the dog sniff the back of my hand (about six inches away from the cage) and this blonde girl comes out of nowhere and yells at me to keep my hands out of the cages! My fingers, and hands, were not in the cages and the young dog showed no signs of aggression, happily wagging its tail. We ended up going to other shelters to look around (which were much more relaxed), but really had our hearts set on the dog they had. So fast forward to today, two days later, we make the three hour drive back over to adopt the dog. They recommended we bring our other dog with us so the two of them can meet and interact with each other, which we did. We quickly went in to check-in with the front staff, left our car on with the AC running, and this lady (the silver 4Runner) follows right behind us yelling about a dog left in a car. We told her our dog is fine and has AC/water and she starts yelling at us about how cruel we are and that the A/C isn’t running (how would she know?!). She disappears into the back employee area and we can still hear her yelling about us. We could also hear her belittling the employees and talking down to everyone—overall, EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude behavior. Come to find, we can’t adopt the dog because of some mystery virus going around today. Couldn’t touch the dog, couldn’t interact with the dog, couldn’t even put a hold on the dog even though we were ready to adopt. Six hour drive completely wasted, only to be belittled by some crazy ego-maniac. As much as we liked the dog, we just did not have good experiences with this place and unfortunately will not be back.

I have mixed emotions because it's sad to see all those dogs in there that people just didn't want. Yet I did find my new best furry friend. They were very patient with me while I was trying to decide on a dog. Very friendly and helpful staff.
