After all the rain a little dog showed up at the parking lot of my workplace. We fed it and felt bad for it since it kept having to deal with being out in the cold. I called numerous animal shelters and all of them turned me away because they were all at max capacity. Luckily, my coworker found a loving home willing to take the dog in. The hard part was catching him. You could tell he had been on the streets for a while from how smart he was. He knew not to get too close, wouldn't fall for any traps, etc. Thankfully, I decided to call Fresno Animal Center again and told them about our unique situation. That we only needed help CATCHING the dog, and then afterward give him to us to house. After two weeks of their nice employee Rudy coming out and setting up a trap were we able to get the dog. His new family has named him Jack, and he now has brothers. This all wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for the Fresno Animal Center willing to help us with our unique request!

I have called this place 3x to try to get them to remove a dead dog that has been on the corner by my house for a week. Nobody answers the phone, and instead they forward me to some Fresno 311 number or Fresno app. I have left requests with them 3 times. The dog is still there. It is starting to become a public health threat, rotting in the sun.

Walked in hoping to find the perfect edition to our family, and I can’t believe I picked the perfect little Miss Sabrina. She’s been amazing, setting in perfectly, living her best life with so much love. She’s super playful. Does well with our 6 year old daughter and senior dogs. The man also fell in love with her the minute he saw her in person. The Fresno Animal Center did such an amazing job with her. We can’t wait to finalize the adoption papers. I swear I was way too excited walking out of the shelter with her. Driving home made me wonder if I signed everything. 😅. Shared some pictures of our little cutie.

My boyfriend was fostering to adopt a dog a sweet little English bulldog we were calling Baby so loving however she had a mass that a few days ago started bleeding so the staff at the shelter asked us to bring her in yesterday evening and that she would be seen by the vet today and they would call us to pick her up sometime today. Well after numerous calls and emails trying to get an update and just a few minutes from leaving the house to go down there in person they finally call us to tell us they PUT HER TO SLEEP THIS MORNING 💔💔💔 there are no words for how upset we are how could they!! We love her so much already she had totally become the princess of the house 💕💔💔 she die alone thinking we abandoned her like everyone else 💔 I feel like we failed her we should have been told we would have rushed down there so she would have been surrounded by and felt how loved she was and how much her life mattered 💔💔 we will never get to say goodbye 💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭

My MIL was randomly given a puppy at the park because they didn’t want her to go to the shelter. I was grieving at the time due to losing my childhood dog and I decided to keep her and name her Layla. Not knowing what to do next, I brought her here and they walked me through the foster then adoption process. They gave her a microchip, shots, checked up on her monthly and even got her spayed! They helped me out a lot ! And also helped one of our friends when some nice lady found his in the streets after they had somehow gotten out and brought them here. They gave them shots and microchipped them both !
