Description (*Appointment only, please call ahead, operating hours and staffing change frequently) Levu Farm comprises of a modest team working as an independent facility, receiving poultry from guardians and partner shelters who can no longer care for them or provide sufficient room. Our shelter is chicken specific with a target on inner-city rescuing to our 30 acre almond farm facility.

I spent a while touring their facility and was quite impressed. They take very good care of the animals. There is plenty of room, shelter and food. The sanctuary is kept very clean and is well maintained. They helped me re-home a chicken, a duck, two pigs and a goat. ***Updated*** 03/22/2022 I dropped in today to visit the animals. All animals looked well and I was allowed to feed them. A chicken ran right up to me and coaxed me to give it a few extra pinches of food for it's audacity. ***Updated*** 08/09/2022 Seems like a lot of work was done to the animal pens. They have more room to roam around and a lot of the fences are reinforced for the pigs. Lots of water basins for the animals to drink from as well.
