We reached out to adopt a dog from this rescue and it was not what we expected. The lady practically yelled at me over the phone for inquiring about the puppy on the site - one who had been with her for a while. She was very vague and frustrated when answering our questions and HUNG UP in my face saying she had dogs to feed. You can tell by the way she talked about them that she wasn’t really happy about caring for them until they are able to find a home. She was extremely rude and disrespectful when I was very polite towards her. Instead of going to the puppy store we thought it would be better to adopt a rescue. Being the puppies in the stores have better chances at finding a loving home. I really wanted to give one of her animals a loving home as well, but I don’t think we will be moving forward with her. Her attitude really let it be known what kind of person she is. I would understand if I were being rude, but that wasn’t the case. I tried calling again the following day after submitting my “application” and she forwarded my call to voicemail. It’s clear she isn’t trying to actually help any of these animals and her attitude towards families wanting to love and adopt the animals is pathetic. I’m sure the ONE review below targeting the other review, is someone she knows or herself. We will be going to the puppy store instead.

As I'm seeing all the reviews, i'm afraid for the dogs. People need to know you're not rescuing the lady, You're rescuing the poor pups from this rude lady. It'll be a Sunday, so I doubt they'll be open. Next time I hope to visit tho.

This is the best small dog rescue in Vegas. Ms Smith works closely with many other rescues in LV and she is extremely careful who adopters and fosters are for her. She also advocates when cats and dogs are stolen (thus why the bad review on here…the person who wrote the review was trying to claim a Savannah cat that wasn’t theirs. Miss Smith was helping the owner of the cat who was proven to be the owner by x-rays so the person who wrote the bad review, decided to come on here and lie, which is sad, and also slander against Miss Smith. And her rescue!).

Holy moly! The woman who answers the phone is literally the rudest person I have ever encountered. She could care less about rescuing and saving animals, instead wants to chastise and argue with me when calling for help about a dog we found. And proceeds to hang up on me. I feel sorry for any animals that are in her care.
