Monty came in for a dental cleaning a week ago. The staff took EXCELLENT care of him (and me!). It’s never easy when a pet has to have a major procedure - there is always a risk. The staff knew this and was very considerate of my feelings. I couldn’t ask for a better doggo hospital. Thank you to everyone at VRAH that helps with Monty - from nail trims to major procedures. We appreciate you!

My dog’s trachea collapsed last summer & his tongue was blue from lack of oxygen. I rushed him to the vet BUT they had just closed. Cars were still at the back of the building so I pounded on the back door. A young technician came out and told me they were closed and gave me the address to the after hours vet. Knowing that he would not survive, I pleaded with her to help him. That’s when the doctor stepped outside saw him and rushed him inside. They put him on oxygen, gave him some meds to calm him down, stabilized him & called a “pet ambulance” to transport him to the Emergency Vet. He spent 11 days in the ICU. My boy Lucca would not be here today if it wasn't for the wonderful doctors at Valley Ranch Animal Hospital.

I'm trying to get established with a new Vet for my dogs. The wait time is unacceptable. I really don't know why I make a appointment. Today my appointment was at 4:30 and I left at 5:15 without seeing anyone!! Also the vet doesn't examine your pet in the room, they are taken to the back, so it may be a tech doing the exam, there is no way of knowing. One appointment they put me in a room took my dog to the back and left me there for 45 minutes. 😒 I feel they have no respect for your time or your pets stress level not to mention my own!! Not recommended!

Dr. Dours is exceptionally professional and so sweet. I felt completely confident giving my pup over to her for surgery. Being a first time dog owner, I had a lot of questions and concerns which were addressed and talked through with me happily and thoroughly.

Kind and communicative staff. The front desk did a great job of communicating wait times and loving on my pup in the meantime. An emergency came in while I was there in the front desk did an amazing job at not only take care of the dog, but the owners as well. Typically Nash is timid of the vets office however, he did an amazing job and it’s because of the welcoming staff.

Horrible experiences. Was told come back for a booster ( in and out in 10 minutes). Waited over 35 minutes only to wait another 20 more minutes for the booster to get done. Then after an hour of the (10 minutes in and out) I was charged more than agreed upon for this booster that they then said wasn’t necessary but recommended. Constant changing of employees at this office and no one knows what they are doing. Never going back.
