Dr. Dodson is extremely smart and kind. She takes the time to explain procedures, diagnoses, and recommendations. She answers questions with respect and clarity. She is knowledgeable in her field and has the best bedside manner for both the animals and their humans. Everyone who works there is kind and caring. I also really appreciate that they always have a way to fit in patients when needed. Best Veterinary establishment that I have been to in Richmond.

My cat had an emergency this week. Betty Baughs rushed us in, made time for us, followed up, and did an all around fantastic job. I’ve had two rather high stress visits with my cat here (she is bad at the vet and I’ll admit so am I) and I felt that everyone did everything to make us both at ease. Thank you to the doctors, reception staff, nurses and medical assistants. Myself, my husband, and our cat Tuesday are so thankful for the fast action, compassion, professionalism, and courtesy at this fine establishment. My heart is so happy knowing my cat had the best care available this week.

We took our sweet rescue Sammy for a second opinion. Sammy had a rapidly growing growth in his mouth. I immediately felt comfortable and transferred his records before we left that day. They were kind enough to fit him in 3 days from the time I called. From the receptionist to the vet tech to Dr. Edwards I felt welcome and that Sammy was a number one priority patient. They fit us in 2 days later for a procedure to biopsy and try to figure out what was going on. I met Dr. Fulton that morning and he took the time to answer all my questions and explain to me what he would be doing. While being optimistic his honestly was so appreciated. Later that day I got a call from Nathan reassuring me that Sammy was out of surgery and doing very well. He told me Dr Fulton was very busy with another surgery but would meet with us when we come to pick up Sammy. He also told us Sammy was a real gentlemen and he enjoyed walking him and hanging out while he was waiting for surgery and every one was in love with him. His words warmed our hearts. Dr Fulton did take the time and answer our questions again and we are now waiting on biopsy report. Whatever the next steps in this journey are I am so grateful to have found Betty Baugh's Animal Clinic. I know our beloved Sammy is a top priority to them as much as he is to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
