Description Our mission is keeping wildlife wild by providing quality, compassionate care. We rehabilitate sick, injured, and orphaned native Florida wildlife. We are here every day to help wildlife in need. If you find wildlife in need after hours, we have drop off boxes that are checked regularly. Staff and volunteers have years of experience helping sick or injured native Florida wildlife including orphaned baby squirrels, rabbits, songbirds and more. Call if you have questions about the best action for the animal you have found. We are the next driveway south of the big, red cross.
Called concerned about a trapped kingfisher in the pond near my house. Florida Wildlife Hospital answered immediately and was able to send someone out within a few hours. The woman who came out was very sweet with my young son. Thank you for saving that beautiful bird.
Came from Cape Canaveral to drop this little injured pigey off after hours. Place looked lovely, even little towel to keep him warm. Here's hoping he does well.
Absolutely amazing. We are so blessed to have such wonderful caring people. Thank you for caring about our beautiful wildlife
We found an injured pelican and we called and they were out to get him pretty fast, within 15 mins. They took him back to the hospital to take care of him. So glad we contacted them.
Love how there are convenient drop boxes for 24/7 depending off of injured wildlife. They monitor them.
They took in a baby screech owl rescued from our fallen tree. Gave the little guy a check up. Called us and asked if they could bring him home and place a nesting box close to where the tree had fallen. It was amazing to watch mama baby and daddy reunited within minutes. 💕 Thank you for caring.
