Went in just to ask about volunteering and I ended up with a new best friend! Literally the most cutest and clean shelter I’ve seen and their adoption process is the easiest I’ve been through and you don’t have to pay for an animal the true meaning of adopt not shop. These other shelters that make you pay $100 or more, honestly annoys me because it defeats the purpose of the whole adopt not shop and for the other shelters I would have no problem if it was less than $90 but they are making you pay $150 for kittens and puppies? It’s just not cool at all that’s why I LOVE this place and you can tell the animals are very well taken care of. I can’t wait to go back and get my kitten a new friend it takes legit no more than 10-15 mins to do paper work and get ur new pet anddd they don’t ask you all these questions they get ur drivers license do a very fast BG check to make sure you have no history of animal abuse or anything like that on your record then you fill out like 3-4 pieces of paper and boom the person goes to get ur pet and you’re done! I really recommend this place and the staff is also really nice, patient, and friendly.

Wonderful shelter! They are dedicated to being kind, helpful, and ensuring that the animals you adopt integrate well into your household. The pets are well taken care of, and as a bonus there isn't any adoption fee. Adoptions even come with a free vet exam(or at least my dog did). As someone who has been to a few other shelters in the past, I think this one has the best potential to setup the animals for success. Definitely worth dropping by and possibly taking a new fluffy family member home ❤️

Got our sweet boy here. He's literally an angel. It was during free adoption month and we got so lucky. He's a Bengal boy and his name is Chicken Chalupa Supreme or pollo for short. They have dogs and cats of all ages here and they take care of everything! Please consider adopting especially from here.

Saw this amazing little guy online went in spend some time with him brought our other babies to meet him and and the same day brought him home and he has been nothing but joy in our lives thank you Brevard county sheriff's office for helping us give his little guy his forever home

Tried to go there multiple times and had to turn away due to no parking, the few times I was able to find parking there were children in there screaming and yelling and scaring the poor animals not to mention holding cats that were already adopted and crying saying they wanted that one. My opinion very poorly organized with the whole adoption process. Already adopted pets should be held somewhere else or have their cage locked. Also ALL the cages should be locked not the whole “any child can open it and harass the poor cats” and if people are being too loud and obnoxious they should be asked to leave.

Nice place to get animals. They had a lot of dogs that I would have loved to bring home and one cat I liked. I just came here to visit the animals. Update: It's been 5 years and I am an active foster a few times a year. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I have fostered some amazing animals that have gone on to their furever homes.
