Description Dogs Forever is a great organization, run entirely by volunteers. We are passionate about our dogs and work tirelessly to take great care of them, and also to make sure their next home is their forever home. When we take a dog in, we take care of them as long as is necessary to find them the right match in terms of family and environment.

Great place to volunteer. The dogs are very loved and well cared for by every volunteer. There are people reviewing saying they don’t have many dogs or don’t have the size dog they’re looking for. It’s a good thing there aren’t many dogs, a full shelter indicates a societal problem, also, more dogs = less 1:1 attention for the pups. Dogs Forever accepts dogs as they can without regard to the dog’s sizes. They’re not going to just turn away a large dog solely because they have too many large dogs.

Our experience was fantastic! We found a set of brothers that were rescued from a puppy mill. After showing interest and applying for adoption we where chosen for one of the 16 week old puppy brothers. Our family is so excited to have another member in our family and it just feels like we are whole now :)! Thank you so much Dogs Forever. The volunteers and environment are so loving, and unlike any of the other experiences we have had. We appreciate you and everything your team does! I adopted a Doberman puppy rescue in February. I had just lost a dog last July and I wasn't sure if I was ready. They were fantastic. I couldn't imagine life without him. The love and care that they put into everything they do from their events to their dogs is heartwarming. What isn't heartwarming is a review that I just saw on here that gave them two stars because they don't have a lot of dogs. I'm not sure if you realize that that's the point sweetie. You don't want a shelter full of dogs. You want them to find their forever homes. They don't overcrowd and they are no kill shelter. Literally everything you would ever want to see and hear about a dog shelter.

Friendly staff, great dogs, good outdoor play area for shelter animals, and got good garage sale items during one of their fundraiser events. I recommend supporting or adopting from them!

These people really care about dogs. A great way to support the cause is to drop off your refundable cans and bottles.
