This is a wonderful sanctuary for farmed animals, where they can live their lives free of abuse, exploitation, neglect and murder. Everyone here is kind, compassionate, welcoming and fun! I had an amazing time at their fundraising event! The Vegan food, music and auction items were amazing! I will be volunteering soon!

What a gem of a find. They have a thrift store, and you can wander around the grounds to see the animals during operating hours. There is no fee to go. However, they do accept donations. The place was very clean and the animals looked well cared for. The goats were very curious and friendly and followed me around. They also have different events, so check out their website.

Love this place! I come from Greensboro to see the sweet animals they have here when I’m in town. The pigs are kind of skittish (who could blame them, they were rescued from bad situations), but the goats are super friendly! Please try to support them through making a purchase at their thrift shop or bringing animal food/supplies. They’re doing amazing work.

A sweet serene space to spend a few hours with animals! My 2 daughters & I spent the afternoon with the cows, goats, chickens, bunnies, geese, ducks, pigs, cats & dogs! This property is beautiful, well kept -- we didn't visit the thrift shop unfortunately because my little ones don't have masks! When you visit, leave a donation! 🙏👏💖

This place is a beautiful Asheville treasure! It truly is a sanctuary for all and when you visit all the animals your soul feels refreshed. If you are anywhere near Asheville, make sure to visit them, grab some items from their thrift store or simply make a donation. The owners are incredibly kind and very sweet and put their heart and soul into caring for the grounds and all the animals they rescue .

What a treat. This place is incredible. So many friendly and sweet animals and the staff couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. The name might be animal haven but this place is Animal Heaven! The let you get up close and personal with so many kind creatures. It’s run by volunteers so and donations or purchases made at their thrift store go straight to the sanctuary and the rescued animals. If you’re thinking about visiting, do it! This was our favorite stop in Asheville!!!
