I'm in the process of adoption and was trialing this puppy to see if she would get along with our pittie. They are inseparable. The puppy got an ulcer in her eye, and they immediately gave me an appt to see the vet and took care of her. I have to wait until she is better to make her official part of our family. Thank you. The black and white is new, Lizzy and the brown and white is Pinkie.
We found a dog on the highway. Brought her by to see if she was chipped. During that time. Someone came out and said put the dog on a leash. We didn't have one. They said put it back in your car then. I said were here to drop her off to get her help they refused and said take her back and drop her off where you found her. This place is nuts. The Karen that came out was very rude. This place is so unprofessional and feel bad for so many animals getting turned away.
I recently adopted a Dachshund puppy named Link from the Asheville Humane Society, and I couldn't be happier with my experience there. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The adoption process was also very easy, which made the whole experience stress-free. Link has been an amazing addition to my family, and I'm grateful to the Asheville Humane Society for helping me find my new best friend. The staff provided me with all the information I needed to take care of him, including vaccination records, feeding instructions, and tips for housebreaking. I was also impressed with the range of services offered by the Asheville Humane Society, including low-cost spay and neuter programs, vaccinations, and microchipping. It's clear that the staff are passionate about their work and are dedicated to improving the lives of animals in the community. Overall, I highly recommend the Asheville Humane Society to anyone looking to adopt a pet. With an easy adoption process, a caring and knowledgeable staff, and a commitment to animal welfare, it's easy to see why the Asheville Humane Society is a top choice for pet adoption in the area. Thanks to the Asheville Humane Society, my family and I now have a wonderful new addition to our home in Link.
Y'all are amazing! Thank you for helping me with my cat. You and the staff at Open Door Vet saved my cat and me! Brick City thanks you too!
This is the least helpful government funded shelter I have ever experienced. Refusing to take abandoned animals brought in is unacceptable. This organization contributes to the abuse and abandonment of adoptable pets.
I adopted my sweet cat from here and have enjoyed fostering several kittens for them!
