I'm in the process of adoption and was trialing this puppy to see if she would get along with our pittie. They are inseparable. The puppy got an ulcer in her eye, and they immediately gave me an appt to see the vet and took care of her. I have to wait until she is better to make her official part of our family. Thank you. The black and white is new, Lizzy and the brown and white is Pinkie.

I recently adopted a Dachshund puppy named Link from the Asheville Humane Society, and I couldn't be happier with my experience there. Can't put to words how happy my wife and I are with the Asheville Humane Society. We adopted our first pet together.(Her name is Bobbi AKA Bob) The staff are extremely professional and truly care for the animals. We adopted a stray on Saturday. She is a sweet girl and warming up to our little family nicely. The staff did a great job of introducing our dog to her, who can be very selective with other dogs and people. So thankful for the love and care she got while staying at the shelter. It prepared her to be here with us in her forever home.

We only went to the dog side but, it was super clean and nice. The adoption process was painless and they offered a lot of resources to set us up for success! We couldn't be happier ♥️ Edit: It's been a few months and I couldn't be more grateful to Ashville Humane Society and their fosters. Lilly is an absolute delight and it is readily apparent how much love and attention she received while she was there. Every magical day we have with her is thanks to them and we couldn't be more grateful.
