I don't know what kind of Animal control agent there were in the past, but the dark hair guy who came to oakleaf estate for a loose pitbull barking and chasing people did his job. He attempted to try and catch the dog until the owner came out, then he definitely warned them (only because they put the dog in the house). Five stars for the attempt

How do you get these people to actually show up and do something??? The online requests seem to go nowhere and the 'centralized dispatch center' on the phone just sends you to a police officer who tells you to follow up with animal control...

Absolutely unacceptable. Here I find a dog in the street while coming back from my lunch break. Almost gets hit by 5 cars in front of me. I chase him down, bring him to the vet across the street. What do they tell me? “Not our problem, call the Animal Society.” Call them two dozen times, no answer. Call the police. They are short with me and direct me to these fools. And after all that, what do I see? You have to SUBMIT AN ONLINE REQUEST for them to do their freaking jobs? Here I am a social worker, trying to tend to my clients, and now there is a terrified dog sitting in my car who has no idea what is going on. Thanks, guys. Y’all really care about our animals -_-

Horrible service. I have been calling for the last 20 minutes to assist with a lost dog in my neighborhood. I have a 450 Sq ft apartment and am willing to house the dog here until we find him a home. Mind you we have 2 other dogs. I am livid. These guys suck

I am yet to see what these people do. They don’t answer the phone very often and when they do they say “we are too busy” to do anything concerning animals. Absolutely useless!

Called once and Animal control arrived fairly quickly and the guy was super nice and helped save this cute doggo we found 10/10
