We have adopted both a cat and a dog from Foothills. Both are wonderful pets and have fit right in with our "family" We recently went back to do a meet & greet with another dog. Unfortunately it was not a good fit with our 2 dogs, so we were not able to adopt this time. We will definitely keep Foothills in mind when we are looking to add "family" members.

Very clean and friendly place. They had the pets in great enclosures and none of the animals appeared to be stressed. The staff answered all my questions and recommended pets based on my wants and home. They say that an appointment was needed and when I called hoping I could make an appointment I was previously told about, I was told to come in... So despite being by appointment, they accomidated my schedule. I recommend anyone looking for a pet come to Foothills Animal Rescue and find your forever pet.

After the devastating loss of my 16 year old cat, I went to Foothills and adopted my new love, Sally. She was spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. And they are a no kill facility.

Wonderful setup for pet adoption. They have all the animal bios on line if you want to plan ahead. I just went in to see if one of them stood out and sure enough there was a shining star and I took her home. Someone had prepaid her adoption fees so it was free (I also paid it forward - as have others. So don't let the adoption fee keep you from visiting. There's a decent chance it'll be free)

I was looking to see if they posted a picture I sent in on my newly kitten I adopted about a month and a half ago from them and was looking through the reviews. I made an appointment and they were so kind and let me go in a room with all the kittens and have me time to pick one out. All the staff was amazing and so nice and gave me all the information plus 3 big size bags of kitten food and 4 cat toys FOR FREE. Not to mention they gave me a coupon for a free visit to the vet. This place was amazing and I love my cat and I plan on going to volunteer because they deserve every bit of it!!!!!
