So glad to get to see Dr. Casey before she went on her maternity leave! I needed that hug! Joyce is always a joy and really with out of her way to accommodate my crazy Athena. Piper was so calm and welcoming also. Great office, great people! Thank you!

The best in Sarasota. Dr. Casey and staff have been amazing with our two dogs. Words cannot express how helpful Dr. Casey was when our French Bulldog needed spine surgery. The staff is always able to answer all of our questions and squeeze us in if we need an urgent appointment. Southgate is the only vet we will EVER take our pets to!

When I call or email they respond and have sent me records everything I asked the very same day. My two dogs are reactive. One vet won't even touch one of them. Southgate not only treated my dogs but both Bull and Cosmo behaved and felt trust. When a dog trust's staff and Dr. You are at the right place. I will never leave Southgate. I live almost an hour and will commute. They earned my forever trust. Been there since 2012

Dr. Casey is the best! My puppy, Poppy was just spayed and her whole team — Leila, Kim and Joyce were so wonderful! We always love our visits with Mack as well — Poppy just adores her!

I have been taking my kitties to Southgate Animal Hospital for over 10 years and will never go anywhere else. The staff is absolutely amazing and the wait time is never over 5 minutes (if at all). Every doctor I have seen there is kind, compassionate and truly cares about my cats. Their prices are fair and they never recommend unnecessary treatments/tests. They also have an amazing app that makes communication with them so simple.

After a years long relationship with our former vet, who was great, we were referred to Southgate for a mast cell tumor in a difficult spot for our dog. Dr. Casey was so knowledgeable and made us feel so comfortable with her surgical capabilities. After the surgical procedure, we were so impressed with everything about this clinic that we decided to stick with this as our permanent vet. Joyce and Piper are so wonderful to deal with - they are very conscientious of our dog's aggressive tendencies towards other dogs and are always very careful to accommodate our dog's special need to keep everyone safe. They are frequently able to accommodate same day appointments when an urgent need arises. They have a well developed app that is also super helpful.
