Description Working to provide financial assistance to pet parents who find it difficult to pay for their dog's veterinary care for an illness, injury, medication and medical equipment. Serving the State of Georgia, our hope is that our financial assistance grant program will help pets increasingly remain in loving homes rather than be abandoned, neglected or surrendered to shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia - we can alleviate the financial strain of pet parenting for those who need our help the most!

My name is Tonya Newberry and my dog Coco, who is a chiuhauha and he is 10 years old . He has chronic bronchitis and is on regular medication . This month I was running short and trying to figure it out . I emailed healthy canines and it was just a couple hours and they emailed me back . I sent them what they needed to help and they helped me . Cocos medicine is not cheap . He is on 3 medications that total 183.00. I just want everyone to know how generous and kind the people at Healthy Canines are . Thank yall so much

We attended the Rescue Dog Games Festival event in October 2023 and received a free bag of dog food. As you can see, this fella loves any opportunity to eat. The Healthy Canines Team was very knowledgeable and we are pleased to be following and supporting this organization. @HealthyCanines, please keep us posted on future events and any way that we can help support. #TeamBernie

I would just like to say what a great experience it was dealing with healthy Canines. They made it so easy for me and my vet to get the help we needed. I can't thank them enough for how helpful and caring they were in my time of need. My vet also said how easy they were to work with. More importantly my puppy thanks them for saving her leg. Thank you healthy Canines for being there when me, my puppy, and my vet needed help the most.aa

Healthy Canines is awesome! We had a neighbor who's house caught on fire in the early hours of the morning. All family members escaped unharmed but the house was a total loss and the family dog, Luna, was on the run. With the assistance of the community we managed to catch the dog a day later. but it was clear she needed veterinary care. Healthy Canines came along our side to help cover the vet bills as we fostered her. After 12 days of treatment She is almost completely healed and is back with her family in a new home. I could not have done this without their financial support. Thank you so much!

I've worked closely with this organization's owner Kim Simpson and she is so passionate about helping people get life saving medical care for their beloved dogs. There is nothing scarier than a family member getting sick and then to not be able to afford to make them better is heart breaking. Healthy Canines is dedicated to ensuring people in need have the means to care for their dogs. Well Done Healthy Canines.

I noticed Pepper was not eating much and yelped when he did eat. I looked in his mouth and noticed a large mass. After taking him to the vet, a biopsy diagnosed the mass as a benign tumor. To remove the tumor would require oral surgery. I was floored when I received the estimate for the surgery. My vet told me about Healthy Canines and gave me a brochure. I reached out to them and applied for a grant. Without their help, I don't know how I would have been able to get the medical care Pepper so desperately needed. Pepper is now back to his normal self an thriving. Thank you, Healthy Canines!!!
