Deb Shevlin at Friends has been a godsend. Our beloved neighborhood cat has a broken leg and we couldn't catch him. Deb loaned us a trap then, after he vet recommended amputation, she put us in touch with the Humane Society vet.who performed the operation at a tenth of the cost of the private vet. Our kitty is convalescing with FOF. Thank goodness he's somewhere that people know pain meds and how to care for an animal who's had major surgery. Deb has also provided valuable advice on caring for our kitty when he comes home.
