I adopted my dogs from here almost 13 and then 5 years ago and it has been amazing to see how far they have come as a shelter since. When I adopted my first dog in 2011, their euthanasia rates were very high and they have exponentially lowered them, in partnership with Lifeline, since. Working in animal rescue is highly stressful and not for the faint of heart but I do believe they try as hard as they can to do what is best for the animals. I will 10/10 continue getting my dogs from here for as long as I live in Georgia.

I recently adopted a dog that was being fostered near my home. The process was quick and seamless and I couldn't be happier with my new companion! I highly recommend LifeLine Animal Project for adopting a pet!

They wouldn't pick up the phone one time out of the 4-5 times I called prior to the appointment, had me drive to 3 different buildings and then finally say that the vet went home and I need to reschedule after sitting in a hour and 20 minutes of traffic. And then after sitting and waiting in my car I see them take another dog to the back for an appointment....That's just bad business. Terrible service

This place was dirty just about everywhere. They had big dogs in cages you’d put a puppy in. My sister, mom and I visited here and we were in the back area and a dog unlocked the cage and took off (this could have ended worse if the dogs were vicious) so obviously we ran out to where the trailers of cats were and told a worker and she just sounded so casual about it. They have a lot of workers and it’s clear but there’s like no work being done (i know y’all have OVER 400 dogs but like ..) If i could i would take a lot of them home because this isn’t good for them. Workers, please do better for the dogs safety.

GO ADOPT! Was only $80 through lifeline/adopets and they make it easy to browse online before coming inS The staff was kind and efficient. Even though I had to wait, the check in was easy and I was addressed as soon as I walked in. For the amount of dogs in this facility and the amount of staff that they have I think they are doing a great job. The only thing I have to say is that I wish the person doing the meet and greet and the pick up process had known the whole background for my new pup! I had to get bits and pieces from each staff member I talked to. But again the staff that’s there compared to the amount of dogs is crazy so I don’t hold it against them. It’s so sad how over crowded the shelters are but I love that they partner with lifeline to help stop euthanizing adoptable pets due to overcrowding. Help them out! GO ADOPT.

My niece was arrested and her friend picked up her large dog which we new was aggressive and had bit often and severely. He phoned us tonight from the hospital the dog attacked him. He needed the dog removed and we all agreed the dog needed to be euthanized. Animal control said it’s after hours he should call a mobile vet. We insisted the dog is locked in the bathroom and dangerous, no one who’s not trained or equipped can go in without being attacked. He said the guy has had the dog in his care for over a week now he has to assume ownership. I told him if the guy chases the dog out of the house it will attack people, I pleaded with them to come help. He said we would be charged if we release the dog, He said, if you don’t have money to pay a mobile vet then you can apply for care credit so it won’t cost you, I said so , you want me to leave this dog in a bathroom with no food or water and wait days for them to approve my credit. He said if you don’t give the dog food or water you will be charged. I said so what do you want us to do, shoot it. If we open the door he’s attacking, he’s viciously gnarling and growling. He said if you refuse the dog food or water, it’s animal cruelty and you will be charged. This is a service funded by tax payers. they’re suppose to protect the public. Not once did he offer a solution or recommendation. This is plain and simple their job to protect the public, I want them on notice, if anyone else is injured from this dog, I hold Fulton county and officer Higgins badge #1662 directly responsible. This dog is vicious , he’s severely attacked 4 people in the last two.months that’s I’m aware of, the gentleman is deathly afraid in his home and can not feed or water this dog without facing injury or possibly death,
