I give these caring people 5 ⭐️. I had to find a place for my babies to go because I could no longer take care of them. I was in a serious bond and I called so many places and all I got was a door shut in my face. Mr.Kyle took them on as soon as I spoke to him and he also let me come on a Thurs because I literally had to have them somewhere today. I love my babies an I want them to be happy an content an taken care of. The intake was ok. I didn’t get to see the area where all the rabbits stay but I saw it from a distance. It is plenty room for them to hop around an be rabbits. Which I am relieved because my rabbits have never been in a cage they were always free roam. I’ve read good reviews an a couple bad reviews. But this is what my heart says. These people care! These people are doing what other people won’t do and is much much needed. It might not be the most amazing spot but they are safe a surrounded by friends a people who truly care about there well being and are doing their best to give these rabbits a chance at life. I am forever grateful to you Mr.Kyle and I admire you for what you do. I truly do! I wish I could do half of what you are doing for these animals! Thank you 🙏

Unfortunately me and my daughter had to surrender our wonderful rabbit, due to living situations. Being on very short notice to find somewhere, I found this place and emailed and they got back to me right away (this was a friday), and I was able to drop him off on Saturday morning. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds are well maintained, and the intake was very easy. The owner walked us through their steps on ensuring the rabbits are safe and taken care of. As I am upset that I am not able to take care of my rabbit anymore, I feel very confident he will be loved and taken care of here.

Overall amazing🩷 they took my little one in when I could take care of him. They keep them in a safe environment. The owner also makes sure they are healthy. Just amazing of what they do for these little babies!

So very glad to have found this haven for my nephew's little rabbits. He was very fearful about what what was going to happen to his little friends that he could no longer care for in an apartment. The kind family that caretake the Retired Rabbit Sanctuary really put his mind at ease and assured him that his rabbit would now be in a rabbit family of friends. Angel, Mr. Kyle and "Little Man" Riley are doing God's work caring for these little critters. Thank you, again, TRRS.

NEGLECTFUL “RESCUE”. NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN Please if you do anything, do not bring your rabbits here. This place is NOT a legitimate rescue and they’re not saving the rabbits here. This is no sanctuary. It is a hell for these vulnerable creatures. This February, I made the decision to rehome 2 rabbits I had rescued from the road 3 yrs prior. I was on a short notice move and felt I didn’t have the time for them. I contacted Kyle and he was responsive. I agreed to bring my rabbits to him. Upon arrival, he took me to his intake area. The intake area looked tidy, we talked a bit. I gave him hay, toys, supplies, and 100 dollars cash. He was telling me how they neuter and quarantine, etc. These are lies. At the moment, I believed him and left my rabbits. I regretted it by the time I got home. I then saw Lisa’s review on this facility. All week I contacted this man asking to get my rabbits back and heard nothing. I finally arrived again on their “intake” day one week after I mistakenly left my precious buns there. I explained how I wanted my rabbits back, so I was taken to their enclosure. It reeked of feces and he didn’t know where my rabbits were and said his wife had put them in somewhere. These rabbits weren’t quarantined so they are at risk of spreading E. cuniculi, mites, disease, etc. I found my boys in this pen in horrible condition. They were in GI stasis, underweight, hair missing, and overheated. Their water pans were low and dirty, and Kyle continually said the volunteers take care of that. He runs this “rescue” and doesn’t clean or refill their water bowls? They also had no hay or toys/enrichment. He said they chew shoes. Why would they do that? There is nothing else for their ever growing teeth. The other rabbits in the pen (maybe 10-12 rabbits) were missing hair as well and some were grossly underweight. My rabbits were unaltered and he was unsure if the females mixed in were spayed. They were also penned next to rescue dogs without any privacy or blinders, so prey animals are forced to look at and listen to dogs all day. This “rescue” has also taken in 100s of rabbits over the years. Where have all these rabbits gone? This man takes and takes rabbits in by the dozens and there was maybe 40 or so rabbits in the yard. He told me that in the last year they have only adopted out 3! All of these rabbits are dying from the above and this man is profiting off of it. I brought my rabbits back home, I ended up spending nearly 1,500 dollars in an effort to save them. My gut knew I had made a mistake. Unfortunately my boys paid with their lives in my momentary lapse in judgement. Go see for yourself and to everyone who wrote a good review, go look for your rabbit there. You will not find it. These animals are suffering and this man believes he’s doing God’s work. It is a lie and these animals have suffered greatly. I beg you to go to any other facility. I didn’t get any photos because I was afraid since he wouldn’t answer my calls that he may deny me access to his property. I played nice in order to save my boys. They at least died on pain meds and safe with me instead of starved and overheated where they had probably been fighting for their lives since he just turned them loose less than a week in. This place has worked with real rescues and I will be contacting them to investigate this. I thought I was giving my boys peace and consistency I couldn’t offer, instead they were left to fight and starve. All while this man takes calls and brings in more and more rabbits everyday. Taking your money and supplies all while these precious babies literally rot alive in the pens.Whatever you do, stay away from this facility. I will also answer any more questions about this facility if anyone needs to know more. I will not stay silent on this. I owe it to my rabbits. To my baby boys, Armin and Hellion and to every defenseless rabbit that suffered before them. In moments of vulnerability, this man lies and makes false promises. I will make sure others know this.

Just dropped off my rabbit, I made the 45 minute drive out and have to say it was worth the trip to drop my rabbit off here. The owner is very kind and friendly, and the intake area was very clean, smelled clean too. I am happy to be donating here from now on, this is a wonderful cause. I highly recommend this place for your furry friends who need a good home.
