Wonderful staff, Jessie and company. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a very affectionate cat show up at our house a couple of days ago - we cared for it while attempting to find the owner. This morning we took it in to the shelter, it was chipped, they called the owner, and the owner came in and was reunited with Apple Pie after being missing for 2 years! That short emotional interaction - including the reaction from the cat - won't be forgotten quickly. I don't think Apple Pie would have ever made it home without the shelter and their dedicated staff. Thank You!

Just adopted my sweet pup from this shelter. Prior to that I came to the shelter to walk dogs on Saturdays. Please consider spending 30 mins or so walking a furfriend at the shelter even if you can't adopt.

Great people work there.. super kind & friendly.. you can tell they love and care for the animals! I adopted the cutest 4 month old male cat from here. We couldn’t be happier and the adoption process was a breeze. Thank you

You guys are horrible! My baby sister called in to pay a deposit over the phone as listed online. She was told she couldn’t, so she decided to make the 3 1/2 hour drive, through snow to adopt this cat. Her application was complete, and she told them she was on the road. She named the cat, bought $200 in supplies, and was completely in love, and ready to make her apart of the family!!! This was at 11AM. They’re closed from 12-1PM for lunch. My sister gets a call, that’s right! A call- they had her phone number!!! They call at 2PM hours, HOURS into our drive- to tell her the cat had been adopted. Mind you- they told her they’d hold it until 4PM!!! Devastated shes asking how this could’ve happened! The girl, nonchalantly replied, “sorry, we don’t know what to tell you?!” By girl, I mean the supervisor!!!! What’s really shocking, is that most employees/volunteers of animal shelters are extremely kind and VERY well informed of policies etc. Lady- you’re so terrible for doing that!! How you treat people is how you’ll get treated!!! You’re either not very bright at all (which is my first guess) or you’re just miserable. 😒 Do better!!!!!
