Description Valley West Animal Hospital was originally established in 1963 by Dr. Bill Welty and Dr. Jim Matchette. Dr. Cromer acquired the practice from her long-time mentors in 1999, after working for them both as a Veterinary Technician and Doctor over the course of 13 years. In 2005, the practice moved from the 7811 address to the building next door, where it now resides.

Lovely little clinic with two sweet cats roaming around. It definitely has a cozy feel to it. My cat was well taken care of and the vet tech, receptionist, and vet were lovely! The decor is all animal themed and is super adorable. I used to go to Apollo Animal Hospital but I think I will make Valley West my cats' regular spot from now on. Not to mention it is very affordable!

My 2 year old cat started having seizures and I took him here to follow up on an ER visit. They are no frills, and right to the point. The doctor knows her stuff, and the support staff were amazing. I will be switching over to them for all of his care now. It's also great that they're a locally owned business.

Great vet great office staff. I like the fact that the veterinarian that owns this clinic has a true love for your pet. She has extremely reasonable prices for shots and care in a time when everything else is at an unreasonable price. The other vet I used to use charged just about double what valley west animal hospital does. So it's more affordable to get shots for your pets when your living paycheck to paycheck.

Exceptional animal hospital. Very knowledgeable and took great care of my cats after they were fixed. They made follow-up calls to check on their well-being after surgery , which I appreciated . I highly recommend to anyone who loves their pets.

My dog was not well.. I took her here . It was way easier.. $54.00 for office visit They are nice and really fast.. They looked at her , said she had two ear infections and an infection on her paws.. They prescribed medication and I'm like here we go.. a bunch of money for the medication.. But, no it was really inexpensive.. compared to other vets.. It was $124.00 for all the medication plus the $54.00 Total $178.00 My dog is feeling way better .. And I didn't go broke.. Thank you , you are awesome
