Dr Hack, Ellie and the assistant for the doctor. It was like a fresh breath especially the way the staff treated me and my fur baby. My dog name is (Precious). We left another vet and it was like hell on wheels and that other vet hospital was a joke in Elk Grove BLVD. We thought we were on candid camera came to Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital is like heaven. The people were very nice. The building was clean and nothing but professionalism and kindness and caring. I was so pleased how they handled everything and Dr. Hack is a five star but I would like to give him 100% excellent. He is very kind and he is an excellent listener. He also checked on my precious fur baby and make sure everything went smoothly and the staff too. I am so happy that there is a good hospital that cares about their customers and their patients. I am going to highly recommend all my friends and family members and strangers to come to this establishment keep up the good work Franklin ranch. I love you guys, and you guys are awesome.

I've waited a few weeks to write this review as I needed to make sure I was being objective. My dog has been going to Franklin Ranch for 10 years. She is a healthy large breed dog but one day she was having a difficult time breathing. She was unable to get up and walk, drink or eat. I called early afternoon to see if I could rush her in and was told that they were booking appointments several weeks out. I explained her symptoms and was told to call the after hours emergency vet clinic in the pocket area as no one was available to see her. Franklin Ranch didn't close for another 3 hours and I find it hard to think that they would refuse to find a few minutes to see a dog in distress. I ended up taking her to a different Vet.

Everyone here is amazing! Our cat had/has some mysterious things going on that meant an emergency operation and a week long stay. Dr. Mike has been incredibly thoughtful (as have all the staff) and honest about what he does and doesn't know. Definitely the right people you want on your side when going through an emergency. I will 100% be bringing all my cats here for everything. Thank you to everyone who cared for Baldur while he was with you! He's doing much better at home and is way more playful than he was before.

We unfortunately had to use Franklin Ranch for a pet emergency. They were so helpful, took our information over the phone on my way there, and were prepared for us as soon as we arrived. They communicated options and kept us informed every step of the way. While I hope we don't have to use them for another emergency, they were wonderful to work with given the circumstances.

I had a situation during the holidays with my older Chihuahua. Our typical vet, VCA, could not get us in to see them in a timely manner. Franklin Ranch's staff was *so* caring and kind over the phone when we scheduled the appointment. They were able to get us in within a few days! Their facility was great; the parking lot has a large vacuum, nice park-like areas for pets to walk around, and a beautiful lobby. The staff was delightful and helpful. Our new vet, Dr Hacker, was very knowledgeable and informed me about my dog and made us feel very comfortable. My pet was greeted and treated with nothing but respect and care. They called us to make sure my dog was doing alright after his vaccine and the Vet called us back with answers to our questions. This is our new favorite place and we are not going anywhere else!! We've been going to Franklin Ranch for 3+ years and spent $1000's on various pet visits. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication on the time of our latest visit (dog heart echo scheduled with Dr. Jackson) and as a result we arrived on the wrong day. Franklin Ranch has had numerous phone issues over the past year, including in Dec of 2023 and June of 2014 that have impacted business so much that they sent emails explaining why their phone systems were down for multiple days. They claim they tried to call us regarding the visit, but we never received the calls. My guess is it's because they're having phone issues... Upon trying to reschedule, they refused to credit the initial $125 we paid for the original appointment. It's extremely disappointing that this place has become such an impersonal business. Management is more interested in $125 then caring for pets / people. Unless that is the type of team you're interested in doing business with, I'd take your pets elsewhere. (Upon reading reviews it's interesting to note that the owner only replies to 5 star ratings...)
