Such a great venture. 10-20 old and/or ill dogs all have a huge, beautiful place to live the rest of their lives at and be cared for. Plus the goats and donkeys are a blast too of course!

We are forever grateful for the Sunflower Sanctuary. We found a big snapping turtle who had been ran over or hit by a car. We called numerous places around the city and no one was willing to help us, including wildlife refuge of New Mexico. It was until we stumbled upon the sunflower sanctuary where we were kindly helped and directed on what to do with him. If it hadn’t been for them the turtle would have probably not made it. Thank you kindly

What can you not say about an individual, Cynthia, who takes care of multiple dogs over the age of 10 years of age? The dogs were either rescued from shelters, hurricanes, or owner surrendered. She keeps the grounds and her home, where all the dogs stay, in immaculate condition. The dogs are always well cared for and get the best veterinary care possible. However, it can't be done without donations.
