Friendly staff very clean facility. I for the second time in a years time had to bail out my dog Phillip and I am still surprised at how low the fee is compared to other shelters are to get him out plus they offer other things as well like microchipping for only 20 dollars per pet. They usually have for sale different dog outfits and really nice harnesses and leashes for way cheaper than retail. You can definitely count on these people to do their very best and everything they can to ensure your pets safety and health are top priority.
My brother adopted a 2 year old black Pitbull named Colt (now Frodo) from them years ago and now I'm trying to adopt a 2 year old black Pitbull named Colt (now Samwise) from them. The process has been pretty straightforward with the exception of my Colt (Samwise) is technically being fostered until we can get him neutered. It cost me 95$ for the dog, a bag of food (because he's being fostered), a collar and leash, neutering appointment, plus a free vet appointment within 60 days of adoption. The staff has been super kind to me and my family. The dogs are always very sweet (that includes the dogs we couldn't take home). I will absolutely get my next dog from here.
I took my granddaughters over to deliver some cookies for the staff and visit the dogs & cats. These folks have to be angels for what they provide for God's greatest gift to mankind. I just wish I was younger and more physically able to volunteer. I'm so happy for the dogs who are adopted and at the same time, sad for those still without forever homes. Our dog Cheyenne is a rescue from Animal Friends. She is our second from this shelter. She has been with us for six years now. Our first, Molly, passed after 13 years with us and I still miss her
Great facility. We are fostering-to-adopt a very sweet kitten from here, and the process is so easy. Only $5 adoption fees for cats. Two days after we brought our girl home, we realized she had roundworm and ear mites. We brought her in and they treated her very quickly and at no cost since we are fostering. The ladies at the front desk are all very nice. They don’t always pick up the phone, but I assume they are very busy.
Love this place. The staff seems super busy and we had some missed communications during the adoption process but ultimately they seemed genuinely concerned about making sure their animals are well and going to safe homes. Found the perfect 4 legged family member (hiking partner, camping buddy...) here after a few visits and following online for awhile.
I adopted four kitties from there over the years. They were wonderful with my babies. All of them were spayed or neutered and had their shots for great prices. And the staff were great with them.
