OMG. We got the most wonderful dog from Young Williams. I want to thank the person who decided to surrender this beautiful sweet gem. She loves to cuddle, she loves to ride, she is a perfect gaurd dog for us while we are working over the road in our semi. She heels when walking off leash she listens real well to a lot of commands. She is potty trained. She is up to date on all her shots, and she has been spayed. Her fur is like velvet, and she gives us all the love she has to give.. The big problem, though, is that she slobbers when it's feeding time. I think we can deal with a little spittle to make sure this sweet, sweet girl never feels like she was given up on ever again. We lost our precious fur baby to cancer after 13 years of good memories. After that, We were left with an empty void in our lives.. God answered our prayers and sent us the perfect dog, Young-Williams held onto her until we could find her. 🙏 I recommend anyone looking for a special friend in their life give, Young Williams a look, you too might find a special furbaby that fills that missing hole in your heart.❤️❤️❤️❤️ We owe so much gratitude to Young Williams and plan on making regular donations so that no other precious animal has to go without a family who loves them.
Young Williams Animal Village is the most outstanding rescue that I, personally, have ever been involved with and .,,I have been rescuing for almost 40 or more years . Unfortunately I have been down for 12 weeks or more, and I started looking for someone to assist me with my feeding needs while I was off work. They didn't bat an eye when I asked them for help. The only thing that they needed was for all my dogs to be at least fixed or scheduled. Three were done previously but four were still viable. So I immediately scheduled all four. One every month till all were done. Then I decided to get them spayed at their facilities and might I add these facilities are top-notch and professional. Consider also,,they worked with me on the scheduling because, face it,four spays at once are expensive. So, the first is done and three are coming once a month. Everyone that I interacted with was totally professional as well as understanding .Those mannerisms aren't usually combined. Therefore since they have treated me well , I intend to help them in anything that I can. I tried to get a job there but I believe that they were afraid that I would want to bring my dogs to work with me. LOL So I ask you this .... If there is any way you can assist them , join me in doing it for them and the animals. The animals are the main reason that they exist. And I will say it over and over for those that would listen. So let's help them in any way we can. Get on board my fellow animal lovers. Go see them if you need a rescue,if you can foster,,go see them. If you need help,,they may be able to help you or maybe tell you where you need to go. Sorry for making more of this than was required but this organization is totally professional and my experience was so much better than I had expected. Go there if you need help, need an animal,or you can email them if you just have a question. God speed to them and whoever reads this.
I was there to have my foster cats neutered. The spay neuter office actually faces Deane Hill Drive, not Kingston Pike so the directions can be confusing. It is a low cost spay/neuter center. The first time I went, the neuter was complicated and I ended up going to my primary vet afterall. This time, things went fairly smoothly. Prepare to wait to be checked in. Dogs are first at 8am, cats check in at 8:30am
Tractor, now Cappy, is fitting right in with the humans and other pets. Bunny loves having a kitten to mother again. He’s won all our hearts.
We adopted a bunny here, the cutest and sweetest bunny in the world. Not without some push back though… we went on a Wednesday with our kids to look at bunnies to see if there was a good fit. We have done extensive research over a long time and knew it was a good time to adopt a bunny. All of the employees on that particular day were very condescending to us about having kids. They kept saying “kids being loud might kill the bunny.” The particular one we adopted had a held tilt, and an employee said it was probably caused by kids. We left that day to discuss things as a family. When my husband went back the next day to put a deposit on our bun, someone even went as far as to say “have you considered a cat instead?” We ignored these comments and now have a sweet bunny who LOVES our kids. He fits so so well in our family, as a free roam bunny. After adopting him, his medical report said they head tilt was of unknown cause, so I’m not sure why they assumed children harmed him. He doesn’t seem skittish of kids at all.
PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION ADOPTING FROM HERE!! We adopted a dog from here and were not provided with the medication the dog needed because the staff "couldn't find it" at the time. We were told if the dog had behavioral issues we could return it at ANY TIME, but after multiple incidents of the dog being violent and aggressive unrelated to "resource guarding" they refused to take him because he didn't draw blood. this led to my mom getting bit and me having the side of my face and head as well as my finger bit. i now have PTSD towards even friendly dogs because of it. not to mention, my family spent at least two grand on vet bills. I absolutely love animals, and special needs and medications are no problem but all in all the staff was completely unhelpful and tried to downplay the situation.
